Haile’s story is tragic and sadly all too familiar. She was alone, in pain, and lacked the strength to even dial 911. Real healthcare doesn’t end a preborn life or endanger the mother. Women deserve to know the truth about abortion pills and what they’ll do to them and the precious life inside of them. Save and share this if you believe women deserve real informed consent. @sbaprolife

BREAKING: Brand new research on abortion and miscarriage’s impact on women's health. A brand-new peer-reviewed study reveals that pregnancy loss, whether through miscarriage or induced abortion, is a risk factor for severe maternal morbidity during a woman's first birth after the loss. Researchers reviewed Medicaid data on women with no prior pregnancies and women with exactly one prior pregnancy loss, whether a spontaneous or induced abortion. The data set spanned 1999 to 2021 and included 17 states that paid for most induced abortion claims. The study found that prior pregnancy loss is associated with a "modest but consistent elevation in severe maternal morbidity during a subsequent delivery." Learn more about the study and its implications and follow AAPLOG and the Charlotte Lozier Institute to see how medical and scientific research overwhelmingly supports life-affirming healthcare.

Top Pro-Life medical and legal advocacy groups representing thousands of physicians, are seeking action from the CDC to increase transparency in maternal death rates and abortion numbers... “Global public health is critical, but the CDC should work first for the advancement of American health, not bureaucratic international agencies,” Gavin Oxley, author of the AUL policy brief and Director of External Affairs & Media Strategy said... She saw her dead child in her hand. Drug-induced abortion isn’t just “passing tissue.” Women actually see their babies. This is a heartbreaking reality of abortion. Thank you to Elizabeth for sharing your story with @sbaprolife so that more Americans know the dangers of mail-order abortion drugs.

The FDA has now delayed results from its abortion pill study until March 2027. "I don't know of any other study like this that would take that long," says @aaplog CEO @DrFrancis4Life. "It appears that they're not even looking at the right data..." Guest host: @JodyHiceFRCA

The FDA’s latest update raises more questions than it answers. After more than a year of review, the agency still has not provided basic transparency about who is conducting the review, what data are being analyzed (including insurance claims data), whether that data is based on current real world use conditions or why it will take until December 2026 to produce results. A safety review based on incomplete or inadequate data is not only misleading, it's bad for our patients.   As outlined in a recent peer-reviewed article, the studies the FDA relied upon to justify removing essential safeguards around mifepristone, specifically the "in-person dispensing" requirement, were inadequate to document safety and did not reflect the actual conditions in which the drugs are now being used. With mounting stories of forced abortions and our members increasingly seeing complications of these drugs, the FDA should immediately restore the in-person dispensing requirement as well as require reporting of adverse events by medical professionals treating patients. Additionally, as we, along with other medical organizations, have repeatedly urged the FDA, the pre-2016 requirements should be reinstated and ultrasounds should be required in order to decrease the risk of complications. Women and their doctors should not have to wait another year for basic safety protections.

NEW: A peer-reviewed paper from CLI examines the evidence behind @FDA 2021 safety review of the abortion drug mifepristone, which resulted in the removal of the in-person dispensing requirement. Researchers found that the review was based on limited studies and incomplete data, raising serious questions about whether the FDA adequately evaluated the drug’s real-world risks. An eye doctor probably isn’t the best medical source on late-term abortion. Dr. Christina Francis responds with facts. Late-term abortion exists and happens. In fact, abortionist Warren Hern’s own statements acknowledge that he performed third-trimester abortions on healthy women carrying healthy babies. Bottom line: There is no medical necessity for a late-term abortion, and laws without gestational limits can allow abortions even moments before birth. We welcome Dr. Vicki Chan to join us for a respectful conversation and debate.

At 19, he was told that his girlfriend’s abortion didn’t affect him because he was a man. In this powerful conversation, Sean Corcoran, CEO of @ntlmenforlife, shares how that dismissal and lack of understanding shaped years of addiction, homelessness, and self-destruction, and how healing began when he finally connected the dots. Decades later, Sean gives men a voice in the abortion conversation, calling them toward responsibility, healing, and a fuller understanding of true masculinity and the defense of the preborn. We’re also so excited that he’ll be speaking at MBEC 2027!

“Viability” is a moving target. Human value shouldn’t depend on medical advancements that continually improve a baby’s chance of survival. Fertilization remains the most consistent moral, medical, and scientific marker for the beginning of human life. @lydiataydavis

50 years of Hyde and 2.6 million preborn lives protected. Just three years after Roe v. Wade, the Hyde Amendment ensured that Americans wouldn’t be forced to fund induced abortion with their tax dollars. Since its passage, it is estimated to have protected more than 2.6 million preborn children. Women and children deserve better than the pain and harm of abortion. They deserve compassionate, life-affirming healthcare that doesn't end a life, something AAPLOG champions every day. For 50 years, the Hyde Amendment has remained one of the most effective pro-life policies in our nation's history. AAPLOG proudly supports efforts to preserve and strengthen these protections so that more women, children, and families can thrive and that Americans' conscience rights stay protected.

The abortion drug is often presented as simple, safe and routine. But there are serious risks that are often hidden by the abortion industry. Dr. Christina Francis explains what can happen when women are given abortion drugs without fully understanding the potential complications. Women deserve the truth about what these drugs do to their bodies, what the risks are and what care is available to them. Congress should pass legislation that prioritizes truth, transparency and safety for mothers and their babies.

Abortion drugs are NOT safer than Tylenol. These stories are a sobering reminder of the risks and real harm the abortion industry ignores. The FDA must do its job and restore in-person dispensing requirements. @sbaprolife dailysignal.com/2026/09/28/w…

Is abortion pill reversal (APR) information junk science? ACOG’s credibility on the issue was put to the test. In this episode of OBservations, Peter Breen, executive vice president and head of litigation at the @ThomasMoreSoc, breaks down the California attorney general’s case against Heartbeat International and RealOptions. Peter walks through how the litigation unfolded, why the state attempted to characterize free, potentially life-saving counseling as “false advertising,” and how the discovery process exposed significant weaknesses in the state’s claims.
