SECO takes the stage at the Arduino EMEA Partner Conference
On October 6–7 in London, @arduino invited SECO to contribute to the conversation on the future of Edge AI and Physical AI, bringing our industrial experience to the stage alongside perspectives from Arduino, @Qualcomm and the wider partner ecosystem.
Representing SECO, Matteo Del Balio, our Lead Product and Program Manager, explored how collaboration across this ecosystem can support the next generation of intelligent machines.
Drawing on our work in #robotics, his presentation connected the possibilities of AI with the engineering demands of systems that need to perceive, decide and act in real operating environments.
The strength of our partnership with #Arduino lies in a shared industrial ambition: helping OEMs deploy Edge AI at scale.
By combining our technologies and engineering expertise, we can address the integration, reliability and long-term support requirements of advanced robotics and #PhysicalAI systems. Bringing this perspective to the conference stage was an opportunity to contribute SECO’s experience and discuss these priorities directly with the wider #partner ecosystem.
The exchange continued on day two, when Matteo and Nico Pietrini, our Head of Hardware, joined technical roundtables with partners, distributors and customers, answering questions and hearing directly about their development needs.
Thank you to Francesco Cattaneo, Guneet Bedi, Marcello Majonchi and Wassim Chourbaji for sharing their vision, and to Sven Golda and Luigi Vicari for organizing the technical discussions.
Above all, thank you to the #ArduinoTeam for the invitation and the trust. We value the opportunity to contribute our voice, listen to the community and help move the conversation forward.

We've been seeing some really interesting designs on @printablescom lately, including MakerT's derivative of the Arduino VENTUNO Q official enclosure case created for 10" 3U racks. printables.com/model/1876277…
While most Halloween jack-o'-lanterns just sit there and grin, @knaveen's Spooky Sassy Pumpkin has opinions. It spots visitors, hears their questions, describes what it sees, and replies spookily using multi-modal AI models on Arduino VENTUNO Q: projecthub.arduino.cc/k_nave…
A 5-million-fold leap in compute performance? From 8M operations per second on the classic UNO Rev3 to 40 dense TOPS on the new VENTUNO Q, our CPO Marcello Majonchi dives into 20 years of hardware evolution and explains why developer accessibility matters more than raw specs: blog.arduino.cc/2026/10/20/f…
Tune in Thursday to see how @SiliconLabs-powered boards like the Arduino Nano Matter accelerate wireless IoT development. Explore Matter over Thread, Zigbee, and Bluetooth LE, all within the familiar Arduino ecosystem.
Curious about our new developer initiatives? @arduino joins us on October 22 for a Tech Talk on taking an IoT project from first tests to production.
We’ll look at how Arduino boards, open-source tools and community resources can help you get started with Matter over Thread, Zigbee and Bluetooth LE, then keep building as your project grows.

"I have to admit that I did not expect the size and speed of the VENTUNO Q to be as great as it was. The speed is definitely a significant improvement over the UNO Q."
