Just in case you want to know how the Speaker issue gets resolved historically: The Majority party leader calls the bluff and calls for the next vote to decide by Plurality - Guy with the most votes. The holdouts get the Majority leader or the Minority leader if they persist.

Dear Congressmen, I know it was scary facing a gunman worried you'd have to fight to get out. Our kids do this drill every year, multiple times a year. Maybe now that you know what it feels like, you might want to do something about it?

And we did it without computers. ~ All this was done under a Republican Administration. It is not that we are overwhelmed at the border, we literally have a blueprint and a proven procedure for dealing with this kind of emergency - even larger ones like it.
