Ranking the @TheFieldOf68 Opening Day Marathon games: 1. High Point v Liberty — fitting midnight kickoff w two of CBB’s best mid-major programs. HP is LEGIT. 2. UAB v McNeese — closest matchup on paper. Larry Johnson (McN) + Deuce and Fernandez (UAB) should keep this one fun. 3. Murray St v Tennessee St — Murray self-explanatory but Nolan Smith is going to have a very good team in Nashville this yr. 4. Furman v Bethune Cookman — two conference favorites to close out the event. Expect a lot of purple in the building. 5. Winthrop v Queens — Winthrop “at home” in Rock Hill against one of my favorite mid-major sleepers of the year. This is a Jordan Watford stan account. 6. App State v Merrimack — also a Joe Gallo stan account. Waking up to this will be glorious (yes I’m planning to sleep tonight). 7. UTEP v Northern Kentucky — UTEP’s debut as a member of the Mountain West. 8. Grambling v Northern Illinois — thank you kind souls for taking the 3:00 am slot. This one is truly for the sickos.
