Token Sale Update
The $BONSAI token sale will no longer take place on October 28.
As we prepare for Botanika’s mainnet launch, we are completing final audits to ensure the network is ready to support the next phase of The Omni Data Layer for AI.
The token launch will move forward alongside the network launch.
A new sale date will be announced once the audit is complete.
More usage changes the network.
As more customers bring storage, data processing and AI workloads to Botanika, the network needs more capacity available to serve them.
For customers, that means access to a larger pool of infrastructure.
For NIMBUS operators, it means more real workloads moving through the network and more demand for the capacity they provide.
That is the direction Botanika is building toward: customer usage creating actual work for the node network.

$BONSAI is designed to connect the two sides of the Botanika network.
NIMBUS operators provide the infrastructure. They contribute storage, edge processing and network capacity, and $BONSAI is used to reward that participation.
On the other side, customers bring demand for storage and data services. As that demand moves through the network, $BONSAI is intended to support payments, staking and broader participation across the Botanika ecosystem.
So the role of the token is not separate from the infrastructure.
Operators provide capacity.
Customers create demand.

Botanika’s network starts with people willing to put real infrastructure online.
So far, around 4,600 NIMBUS devices have been sold, representing approximately $8.3M in hardware revenue.
Those devices are the foundation of the operator side of the network, where NIMBUS owners provide storage and processing capacity that can be matched with real data demand.
That matters because Botanika is not trying to build a network from token incentives alone. The hardware already has buyers, and the business has already generated revenue before the token sale.

Botanika is already working on that problem through a $2.2M, 24-month pilot with RATP and Riyadh Metro.

The sale will take place on @solana, powered by @metaplex, and will remain open for 48 hours.
