We’re heading back to the table with management while continuing to prepare for strike action.
We’re doing this because stability matters. Clarity matters. And the people doing this work deserve enforceable protections.
A QUICK PAUSE! Our preparation and coordination has brought management back to the negotiating table. Given our progress, we’ve agreed to “stop the clock” on striking through Jan 6. We are not done fighting, and look for more information about virtual and in-person pickets!
Our contract expires in 15 days. Hundreds of letters signed so far! @OPEIU @AFLCIO actionnetwork.org/letters/fa…

The job market is tough. 7 months post layoffs, we’re still receiving requests for financial support from our solidarity fund. We’re raising $10,000 to bridge the gap for our former coworkers as they look for new positions. Please donate (venmo.com/u/CfAWorkersSolida…) and share!
🎉 🎉 🎉We are beyond excited to share that this past Friday, @CfAWorkers members voted overwhelmingly to ratify our first collective bargaining agreement with @codeforamerica! 🎉 🎉 🎉
