“The one misconception would be to think that anything and everything won’t be on-chain in two or three years.” That’s the view of @NormanWooding, Founder & CEO of @Scrypt_Swiss. As a FINMA-licensed portfolio manager, SCRYPT helps institutions move money on and off-chain and earn yield on their stablecoins. When Norman entered the industry, few would have expected tier-one banks to offer these services. Today, he notes, many of them are approaching SCRYPT directly. Reflecting on the company’s early years, his advice to founders is to fundraise from the outset. SCRYPT bootstrapped for two years, trading 500 million and finding go-to-market fit before it raised. Norman also explained how AI has changed the way he stays informed.
