Brookfield is giving up the $600M, 785-unit Beaudry tower in downtown Los Angeles, less than four years after it opened, rather than refinance a loan of about $360M.
The lender, Apollo-owned Bridge Investment Group, is working to sell the loan.
The tower is about 95% occupied at asking rents near $4,200.
Office vacancy rates remain roughly double what they were in 2019, while apartment rents are just now back to levels seen before the pandemic.

@HSIPhiladelphia arrested a Finnish foreign national for alleged voting by alien. They allegedly registered to vote and subsequently, voted in the 2024 general election.
American elections are for American citizens. Anyone who unlawfully votes will be found and brought to justice.

❗️UPDATE: In addition to an anticipated flight carrying ~150 Afghans to Pakistan this week, we expect that another ICE Air removal flight, w/ a similar route, will carry Iranians to Pakistan in the upcoming weeks. We're closely monitoring both flights & will provide updates here.
