Donald Trump just promoted one of the most vile thugs to ever slither into the Oval Office.
This is an insult to every American who voted for change on Tuesday.
Stephen Miller cooked up the sadistic mass deportation regime that ripped apart families and trampled basic civil rights. Innocent people are dead because of him.
Voters rejected his cruelty and extremism. This is sick.
"I am pleased to announce that Mr. Stephen Miller, the current Deputy Chief of Staff of the Trump Administration, and one of my most trusted advisors, will become the Chief of Staff starting Monday, November 9, 2026. Susie Wiles, who has done an outstanding job, will be moving over to the Trump Political Operation. I want to thank her for her service as Chief of Staff — She has done a great job!" - President Donald J. Trump 🇺🇸
Happy Native American Heritage Month!
We're proud to celebrate the tenacity and leadership of Native communities.
California continues to build on our progress and partnership, confronting the wrongs of the past and advancing the tribal priorities of today.

Did you know that 1 MILLION Californians have gained access to safe drinking water through California’s Safe and Affordable Drinking Water Fund since @CAGovernor Gavin Newsom took office?
And the state is building for what comes next: expanding storage, investing in aging infrastructure, and preparing communities for increasingly extreme droughts and floods.
I'm proud to announce the first phase of California's NEW Indian Heritage Center in Sacramento.
Designed with tribes from across the state to reflect and honor Native cultures and traditions, we're setting the runway to continue sharing the full story of California.

Jennifer and I deeply mourn the loss of LAPD Officer Thomas Denton and send our thoughts to his family, friends, and colleagues.
In honor of Officer Denton, flags at the State Capitol and Capitol Annex Swing Space will be flown at half-staff.

BIG water news: After decades of planning, Sites Reservoir secured its final water right permit, driven by @CAgovernor Newsom and other state leaders who made the project a priority. The approval puts California on track to build its largest new reservoir in more than 50 years — helping modernize California’s water infrastructure and strengthen water reliability for generations to come.
“All regulatory approvals have now been provided and California is on the verge of breaking ground on this critical investment for our communities, economy, and environment,” said California Secretary for Natural Resources @WadeCrowfoot. “This is how we secure our water future in a shifting climate.”
We just got FINAL APPROVAL to build our Sites Reservoir project on the Sacramento River, the state's largest new reservoir in 50 years.
Construction in Glenn and Colusa counties is set to create jobs and an extraordinary source of support for withstanding future droughts.
California continues to take bold action to expand our water storage and delivery for a world made hotter and drier by the climate crisis.
We've worked over the last eight years to fast-track key water infrastructure like the Sites Reservoir project to prepare for that future.

BREAKING: @CAGovernor Gavin Newsom on SCOTUS firmly slapping down the Trump DOJ's baseless attack on California's electoral process.
Justice is served.
The Supreme Court quickly shut down President Donald Trump's effort to force California to sideline potentially thousands of ballots that the Justice Department claims may have been cast by noncitizens, rejecting the administration's emergency request hours after it was filed. cnn.it/3WpAfz2
Let me be clear to anyone thinking about helping Trump interfere with California elections:
If you interfere with voters or tamper with ballots, you will be prosecuted with a FELONY.
And don't count on a pardon from the President. He can't pardon you out of California justice.
Governor Newsom Warns Against 2026 California Election Interference
California is dead serious about the security of tomorrow's midterm elections.
If Trump tries to meddle with California's ballots, you can be sure as hell that we'll prosecute those who help him.
Californians deserve a free and fair election, and that is exactly what we'll deliver.
I'm proposing to expand the @FilmCalifornia Tax Credit to at least $1 BILLION annually to make California's Film & TV Credit the LARGEST capped program in America.
