Using Clerk's MCP and need something you know is in our dashboard, but we haven't built a tool for it yet? Now your agent can easily computer-use to find it.
The browser sessions that our MCP gives to agents are read-only, no mutations allowed.

1. Browser sessions for agents
Your MCP server can hand agents a single-use link that opens a signed-in browser, so agents stop getting stalled at sign-in pages.

2. Step-up permissions for your MCP tools
Your MCP server can ask for only the permissions a tool needs, when the agent calls it, without dropping access the user already approved.

Agents kept taking a deprecated setup path. We changed one error message to point them at the CLI. Then CLI adoption roughly tripled.

Bundle IDs, Team IDs, Associated Domains, entitlements. The Clerk CLI now handles all of it for iOS and macOS.
Ask your agent: "Add Clerk to my iOS app using the Clerk CLI."

ALT A terminal where an agent is asked to "Add Clerk auth to my iOS app" and runs clerk init. It detects the Xcode project MyApp (iOS), installs ClerkKit and ClerkKitUI, configures the publishable key, adds the associated domain, registers the native app, and adds AuthView and UserButton. It ends with "Clerk is ready, run the app."
Run clerk init in your Xcode project, or add --starter to create a new one with Clerk already set up.

Ask your agent: "Set my Clerk app's native session lifetime to 90 days and keep web sessions at 7 days."
Custom session lifetimes for native apps are now in Clerk.

Set it per app, so iOS and Android can each have their own minimum. Clerk's SDK shows the update screen for you, so there's no UI to build.
Tell your agent: "Set the minimum version of my iOS and Android apps in Clerk to the current release."

3. More tools in Clerk's MCP server
Your agent can now rename an application (update_application), list and add redirect URLs for mobile and desktop SSO (list_redirect_urls, create_redirect_url), and find or count users by organization, account status, or dates (list_users).

Pro tip: you're allowed to skip straight to stage 6. 😉
1. Agent Feedback improvements
We've heard your requests since launching our Agent Feedback tool last week, and we're excited to announce three key improvements:
1️⃣ Feedback now records to the User an agent is acting on behalf of
2️⃣ Feedback now records the MCP server version
3️⃣ Feedback is now listed in our Dashboard (and still Clerk's MCP, of course)
Get started:
> npx plugins add clerk/skills
> Add the latest Clerk feedback tool to our MCP server
2. Personal Agent Protocol (Poppy) support
We know you need to meet agents where they’re at, regardless of protocol.
Two weeks ago, @meta, @Instinct, @Stripe, @Shopify, @Walmart, & @SierraPlatform launched the new Personal Agent Protocol (Poppy) for agents, so we began adding support right away.
Today, it’s in private beta. Reach out for access: clerkdev.notion.site/11dd8ea…
