When lawyers quoted him six figures to clear all the samples on INNANETAPE for streaming, @VicMensa scoffed. Turns out, that number was accurate. 13 years after its free release, the mixtape is finally commercially available. I called Vic to walk through what it took. 🧵

JAY-Z says his two best albums are “Reasonable Doubt” & “The Blueprint”. He made NINE songs that actually made the album in 1 weekend ♨️ He said OG Juan went away to Miami for a weekend & was LIVID when he got back because he missed it.
