Introducing Zeku - a calm place to write for your @astrodotbuild site
This is for devs who've already built their blog and just need a quiet space to write.
You shouldn't use an IDE, a bloated CMS, or an AI assistant to write for you.
Available today to try for free.

Instead of correcting course, the GOP chose to shoot the messenger and double down on stupid. (This tweet is one year old tomorrow.)

We lost one of the greats of the bootstrapped software world.
Adam Robinson was so inspiring to follow in his journey to build Retention, RB2B, and MoltSets in public. There aren't many people who bootstrap a company to $10M+ like he did, let alone to do it in public.
Last time we were together in Miami he teased me that my Web App Challenge was so inspirational to him, but that he wished I posted more. So he'd ask himself, "What do I wish Nathan shared?" Then write that.
I loved his public posts, lessons learned, and the way he ran the podcast. He was also so generous with his data and legal knowledge as we launched Subscriber Signals at Kit.
Adam, thank you for the generosity in every interaction. You inspired me and thousands of other founders. You'll be dearly missed.
Rest in peace.
Gutted to hear about @RetentionAdam and his family. Please pray for them and everyone they knew.
The founders price of $19 ends October 31st.
Buy a license before it changes to its standard rate of $39.
Zeku has received a lot of changes recently, you can check the changelog for all of the new features it has!

Buckle up, this is a technical one. 🤓
I run @claudeai Code across 3 PCs, and every one of them works from the same memory!
There's my daily driver (@Windows 11 and an RTX 4080, the one I'm sitting at now), an always-on PC in the corner that never sleeps, and a laptop for when I'm on the go. Whichever machine I sit down at, my AI has the same files, the same notes, and the same context it had five minutes ago on another one.
More details: SSH lets me hop from one machine to the next, Syncthing keeps the big files in sync live, and an hourly Git backup puts everything in a private repo in the cloud. @Tailscale ties it together, so it works from anywhere. The laptop is short on disk space, so it skips Syncthing and keeps a slim Git copy instead.
The always-on PC is the workhorse. It runs lilAgents routines around the clock: standup prep every Monday, a LinkedIn stats pull, a @HubSpot sync that keeps our CRM current. Some run daily, some weekly, some only on weekdays. Others wait for a trigger, like someone tagging it in @Discord, a file landing in a folder, or a build request on @GitHub. Discord doubles as my remote control, so I can talk to it from my phone.
Big jobs get split up. When I render a batch of videos for our podcast, #Retooled, both PCs pull from one shared list of chunks, so neither machine bogs down, and the final join happens where I can watch it. Audits work the same way: five specialist agents go through a Google Ads account in parallel, skeptical verifiers try to disprove each finding, and one last step writes the ranked report.
And not everything needs a model. Some jobs get Opus, some get Haiku, and some are just a script on a timer.
What's the one task you'd hand to a computer that never turns off?

Foursquare was acquired last month. The outcome was disappointing. It's taken me a while to write this, but I think I'm finally done grieving it. Here are some thoughts on our final years, an effort to honor the team who helped build & maintain FSQ's legacy, and my attempt to finally get some closure. teendrama.substack.com/p/som…
If you enjoyed @nathanfielder's You Can See Everything, I implore you to check out his other work, specifically Nathan For You (all seasons) and The Rehearsal (both seasons). And even Nathan On Your Side if you want some deep cuts.
I haven't seen YCSE yet but I can't wait.
Biggest problems with @XMoney right now:
1. No bill pay / Zelle
2. Doesn't allow for @Bitwarden passkeys, so unusable on desktop
Also, the occasional time I need to cash a check, which is happening less and less.
VERY thankful for joint accounts with non-premium users though.
Creating a platform-agnostic AI agents community on Discord.
Let me know if you want an invite.
Partnerships and sponsorship spots are also available.
My @lemonsqueezy store was paused and placed under review by the Risk team with no warning and for no stated reason.
I would highly suggest using another provider, they have been very slow and unresponsive to resolving this issue, despite "escalating" it.
