🆕Zomato founder Deepinder Goyal on Wednesday said that the food delivery platform will roll out a “mehmaan mode” this week, after a LinkedIn user pitched a feature that hides menu prices when a phone is passed around among guests.
Meanwhile, as its consumer businesses scale up, Eternal, parent of Zomato, has announced its entry into the consumer AI (artificial intelligence) space.
The company plans to launch Dark, an AI assistant designed to enable private conversations, later this year.

📢Info Edge founder Sanjeev Bikhchandani is set to return as the company’s chief executive, 16 years after stepping down from the role. He will succeed Hitesh Oberoi, who took over as CEO in July 2010 when Bikhchandani moved to the position of vice chairman of the Naukri parent.
Oberoi will remain on the Noida-based company’s board as a non-executive director, subject to shareholder approval, Info Edge said in a statement.

⚖️Legal experts have called for targeted assessments of corporate readiness for the Digital Personal Data Protection Act following recent cyber incidents in India, including disclosure of critical vulnerabilities in PHP, a programming language widely used to run websites
The incidents underline the need to identify gaps in companies’ security practices and clarify what constitutes reasonable safeguards before the law takes effect, they said.
The DPDP Act is being implemented in phases, with a May 2027 deadline for full compliance obligations.

🆕E-commerce platform Meesho reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 132.45 crore in the September quarter of FY27 (Q2FY27), which has narrowed 67.8% from Rs 411.36 crore loss in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year.
Revenue from operations rose 34.4% year-on-year (YoY) to Rs 4,131.58 crore in Q2FY27, compared with Rs 3,073.67 crore in Q2FY26.

📈 Kissht’s parent OnEMI Technology Solutions reported a doubling of consolidated net profit to Rs 125.1 crore in the September quarter from Rs 62.4 crore a year earlier, as revenue grew with an expanding loan portfolio.
💰Revenue from operations rose 44.7% year-on-year to Rs 731.8 crore from Rs 505.7 crore, according to the company's stock exchange filing on Wednesday.
