On most venues, USD 10M of trading costs you fees. On Grvt’s RWA markets, USD 10M of maker fills pays you USD 1,000. Switch Paid Mode on before it ends on 21 Dec 👇

October was a red month for crypto. Grvt held steady. $455B traded, TVL up 36% since August, and the next few weeks look stacked: → Grvt Earn → Stable Funding Perps → Yield as margin → Grvt 2.0

Cooking. Dropping something in a couple days. 🌏🏦
ethereum:0xad29f2723fcdbcf665f210f25e06f97477e417cf: Just ~$25M market cap vs $440B+ in perp volume 👀 Pretty interesting when you put those 2 numbers side by side. I checked @grvt_io's data on DefiLlama: → Cumulative perp volume: ~$442B → 30D trading volume: ~$14.2B → Open Interest: ~$430M → TVL: ~$34M Meanwhile, ethereum:0xad29f2723fcdbcf665f210f25e06f97477e417cf's actual market cap is sitting around just $25M. Ofc, you can't simply compare trading volume to market cap and call a token undervalued. Perp volume is leveraged and doesn't directly translate into revenue. Plus, most of ethereum:0xad29f2723fcdbcf665f210f25e06f97477e417cf's supply is still locked as I mentioned in my prev posts. But I think this is a setup worth watching. > GRVT already has meaningful trading activity. The bigger question is how much of that activity can translate into actual revenue and economic value for the token. (public revenue data isn't fully disclosed or independently trackable yet, so there's still more to watch) > The recent 1.1M ethereum:0xad29f2723fcdbcf665f210f25e06f97477e417cf buyback was a first step, maybe to initiate sth 👀 > With GRVT 2.0 coming, I'll be watching actual revenue, capital retention, and whether the platform can attract more users. If the underlying business can grow faster than its valuation, ethereum:0xad29f2723fcdbcf665f210f25e06f97477e417cf could see a rerating down the line imo. Still on my watchlist 💎

TradFi makes you choose between earning yield and putting your capital to work. Crypto gives you funding rates that change every 4–8 hours. How thoughtful. We figured there’s a better way. Giving high yield from diversified sources and RWA perps with fixed daily funding + zero trading fees. If that’s not all, your yield-bearing capital doubles as trading margin. It’s literally money, upgraded.
I don’t think I’ve spent this much time looking into a project as I have with @grvt_io lately, and the more I dig, the more I understand the bigger picture they’re building. At first, I was looking at the trading side. But GRVT Earn is what really got me curious. The Liquidity Provider chart shows a steady climb in share price, reaching around $1.14 on the all-time view. Beyond that, GRVT is exploring tokenized fixed-income strategies with target yields of up to 11% APY on eligible assets. And with Yield as Margin planned, eligible Earn balances could eventually support trading positions while continuing to generate yield. That’s what interests me most: the idea of making capital work across earning and trading instead of treating them as two separate things. Of course, I want to see how it performs in practice, and yields aren’t guaranteed. But I’m starting to see why GRVT 2.0 has my attention. There’s a bigger picture here, and I can't wait to see it come together.

A fixed buyback schedule might offer predictability, but it also gives the market a playbook to front-run. Our approach is deliberately discretionary. It allows the issuer to respond to market conditions without telegraphing every move. What we can commit to is transparency on completed buybacks and verifiable burns onchain. Less predictable for traders looking to game the system. More flexibility to act responsibly.

1.1 million GRVT burned, but the "at the issuer's discretion" wording is doing a lot

Building for what matters, stripping away the noise. 🫡
It’s easy to keep adding features, ideas, and words. The hardest, and most important, part of a startup is simplifying. You have to understand the complexity before you can simplify it. The art is knowing what to leave out so the value is clear to the customer.

Building brick by brick. Slowly, then all at once. 🫡
It was one of those projects, as far as i can remember, that kept delaying its TGE so many negative chatters were there that timee Yeah @grvt_io ! But they've been building quietly and now the first real on chain action is out They just completed their first buyback > 1.1M GRVT bought on the open market and permanently burned > Close to 1% of circulating supply at the time. Good that the tokens didn't go into a treasury instead went straight to a burn address. A treasury can still move later but a burn can't Also, there's a public dashboard with the hashes so you can actually verify it yourself. Further buybacks are intended monthly but size and timing stay at the issuer's discretion Yield as margin looks interesting too me actually, using eligible earn balances as trading margin while they keep earning Check the article for more details GGs on actually shipping something!!

Imagine earning up to 11%, no lockups, and still being able to trade with the same capital. #November
Had a post idea to shit on DeFi as: 1) exploits increasing and 2) DeFi's 'low-risk' yields are back near where they were a few years ago. Aave USDC avg. yield on Ethereum: • 2023: 2.74% • 2024: 6.57% • 2026: 3.27% With short term US tbills at 4.14%, why take extra smart contract risk for lower yields? But this post is about Defi SUCCEEDING. A lot of ppl don't have access to any yield. 1.3B adults don't even have banks accounts less buy us treasuries So I think we should continue to push the low risk DeFi. We onboard more users to crypto, they learn about self-custody and will end up buying tokens to become our exit liquidity. win win

The wealthy have enjoyed these privileges for decades. Now, we’re building a world where everyone can. No gatekeepers. No unnecessary complexity. Just more ways to make your money work harder. Follow our Co-founder and CEO, @hong_grvt , for more of his thoughts on the industry and what we’re building🧱
Blockchain cuts out layers of middlemen. But no one has built the consumer app that does for everyone what private banks do for the wealthy: earn yield, borrow against your assets, access global markets. DeFi has the rails. What's missing is the consumer app built on those rails.

“Designed to be safer than your bank”. Straight from our CEO and Co-founder.
Imagine your money sits in a bank making only 3% a year. You move it to Grvt with one click. It becomes USDC. Now it’s making 11%. With the same money, you can trade US single stocks, indices, commodities, FX. 10x leverage. Funding cost is single digit annualized. 0 fee trading. And your balance is still making 11% while you trade. And it’s designed to be safer than your bank. And your neighbor can use it because it’s so simple. That’s what we’re building.

Saving has failed this generation. Agreed. Making people choose between earning yield and trading? We think that’s broken too. 🤝 @aave
Saving has failed this generation, so we built Aave App to fix that.
