Gamban are really excited to partner with Free Me South Africa to provide our award-winning blocking software to FMSA’s Workplace Gambling Harm Reduction Management System.
The South African Responsible Gambling Foundation has warned that the country's boom in sports betting could lead to greater financial and mental health harm.
Our partnership, alongside other practical resources, will give both employers and employees the tools to help reduce harm caused by online gambling.
We are looking forward to working closely with Free Me South Africa.

Prediction markets like Kalshi and Polymarket don’t use the typical language that most betting sites use.
Instead, they use words that make betting feel like investing, framing the activity in a more positive and productive light.
This changes how you feel about betting on these sites, making it feel less risky. You haven’t “lost money”, you’ve “taken a loss on your investment portfolio.”
60% of prediction-market sports bettors believed winning was down to skill, compared with 50% of sportsbook users.
Prediction markets feel more sophisticated and skill-based, but carry the same dangers as traditional gambling.
Gamban recognises this, and blocks all prediction markets, CFDs, cryptocurrency exchanges, binary options, forex trading and event contracts.
