if an exchange is hacked for $BTC or $ETH
its sold into $XMR
therefore you you can hedge $BTC, $ETH etc by owning the otherside of that scenario -> $XMR
its also worth noting that you cant buy $XMR on most exchanges and therefore liquidity is super low
so you have an iliquid asset with buyers that dont care what price they pay its a pure utility play
one of the best asymetric bets on the market rn
