HISTORY MADE! This is pretty exciting!
Our first @SLMPD drone just responded to its first emergency 911 call in St. Louis! It was for a suspicious person knocking on doors.
A new era of public safety is officially underway.

It was a good morning for Miss Alice, 91 North City. She was disconnected for a week. Rent, utilities, food and meds costs far exceeded her $950 monthly social security. HeatUpStLouis.Org turned her on with a $300 utility grant. Please give!

One of the scariest feelings is getting a disconnect notice. The first mistake many make is NOT to contact their utilities. Shawn, a working dad of 3, North County called them with an inability to pay. He then reached out to HeatUpStlouis.Org for a $300 pledge on his bill.

Drive carefully on elevated roads! Bridges & overpasses freeze faster than ground streets as cold air flows above & below, stripping heat. Watch out on the Poplar St Bridge, Stan Musial Bridge & I-270 flyovers! #STLDriving #MoDOT #BridgeSafety #stlwx #ilwx #stlwx

ALT Cross-section graphic comparing a bridge span to a ground roadway. Blue arrows illustrate cold wind circulating both above and below the elevated bridge deck, causing rapid heat loss. A subterranean thermal diagram shows ground roads retaining earth heat from below. Text labels highlight local high-risk corridors including the Poplar Street Bridge, Stan Musial Bridge, and I-270 interchange flyovers.

Heads up! Some patchy fog is possible in spots this morning, but once the winds pick up this will no longer be an issue.
Welcome November, as we get closer to cooler & colder weather. Please do a budget plan with your @AmerenMissouri, @spire_energy or @AmerenIllinois utility bills. Many residents have both electric and natural gas services. That can be an economic drag. HeatUpStLouis.Org

ALERT: The recent distribution of Ameren funds to area agencies in MO/IL does have strings attached. Someone posted on the internet that “no income eligibility is required.” WRONG! Those funds require all agencies to use their existing “income eligibility” to help clients!
