Over the weekend, we had the incredible opportunity to gift a Help Hope Live themed customized adaptive bike to our client Nicholas Lovecchio as part of @HMSSchoolCP's 5th Annual Community Day.
Nick is a 15-year-old living with cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and microcephaly who needs 24/7 caregiving. His family began fundraising with us to help with the cost of an adaptive van, which insurance will not cover. As of today, they’ve raised over $4,000 for Help Hope Live in Nick’s honor.
Adaptive bikes unlock unique benefits for kids with disabilities—including fresh air, outdoor play, and rehabilitative daily movement—but, they are not covered by insurance. Costing upward of $5,000, adaptive bikes are out of reach for many families.
Thank you to the Esther & Pedro Rosenblatt Foundation for helping make moments like these possible.

Today, we celebrate the birthday of the incredible Christopher Reeve—a trailblazer in finding a cure for spinal cord injuries, as well as a passionate advocate for disability rights and care. Christopher's legacy lives on in many ways, including through his youngest son, @ReeveWill.
Will—a reporter, journalist, and spinal cord advocate—was the recipient of our 2018 Live Award. Through his outstanding efforts as a board member at the @ReeveFoundation, Will's work has helped provide Quality of Life grants to organizations like Help Hope Live to support families impacted by a spinal cord injury.
Will, thank you for using your voice to uplift others, both within the SCI community and beyond. Your impact is felt by so many.
