Guwahati–Delhi in under 8 hours? Yes!
The extension of the Northern bullet train corridor to Guwahati is a pivotal moment for East India.
My heartfelt gratitude to Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi Ji and Hon’ble Railway Minister Shri @AshwiniVaishnaw Ji.
The corridor was initially meant to end at Siliguri. After my written request and meeting with Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw Ji in July, he saw merit in our proposal and approved its extension into the North East.
This is what a government that listens and delivers looks like.
As Assam prepares for a new wave of high-tech industries, fast, affordable flight like connectivity to Delhi and two state capitals will open up enormous opportunities for businesses and livelihoods.
A bullet train to Assam once seemed so far-fetched that it never even became a public demand. Today, what we scarcely dared to dream is becoming reality.
Isiliye, Modi kahin nahi jayega!
Have a great day!
Nothing makes me prouder than seeing Assam's youth build their future on merit, not money or connections.
Bikash Doloi and Dipjyoti Talukdar were college friends who prepared together. Today Bikash serves in the Assam Forest Protection Force and Dipjyoti in the Assam Police Commando Battalion. Both got their jobs on talent alone, without paying a single rupee in bribes.
That is the promise of a transparent recruitment process: hard work is what counts. And they're not stopping here. Both are already preparing for APSC.
Many more such stories are on the way. My best wishes to both!
The picture is clear.
In the nation's Parliament, Shri @narendramodi ji will be the Prime Minister, while Rahul Gandhi can be PM in Mock Parliament.
26 pawsome friends rescued and given a chance at a happier tomorrow.
A new chapter of care, kindness and hope awaits them. Assam stands firmly against the illegal trade and exploitation of innocent animals. No life should ever be treated as a commodity.
Kudos to @assampolice for bringing them to safety.
The next big football dream of Assam could well belong to a little five-year-old from Dhangargaon.
Watching Rajdeep Rabha play, with such remarkable footwork, confidence and an innocent love for the game, was truly a heartwarming experience.
In his little feet lie big dreams.
Just a normal day in a Tea Garden Model School somewhere in one of the remote Tea gardens of Assam.
Political tourists come and go but our efforts to provide the best educational facilities to our students remains firm.
On the Foundation Day of Assam Medical College & Hospital, Dibrugarh, my warmest wishes to the entire AMCH family, its doctors, faculty, staff, students and alumni.
Over the years, AMCH has grown not just in infrastructure, but in its ability to care for people with greater comfort and better facilities.
May this institution continue to touch lives and serve the people of Assam with the same dedication for many more years.
Privileged to attend the Bharat Renewable Energy Summit today in the esteemed presence of Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji, whose vision has placed clean energy at the heart of India's growth story.
At the CEO Roundtable, I reaffirmed Assam's commitment to this transition. Under our Integrated Clean Energy Policy, we are targeting 11.7 GW of renewable energy by 2030, and I invited industry leaders to partner with us in building a greener, stronger Viksit Bharat.
My gratitude to Hon'ble Union Minister Shri @JoshiPralhad ji for bringing diverse stakeholders onto a single platform to accelerate India's clean energy ambitions.
Our girls are now winning in avenues, traditionally not considered India's strength.
Congratulations to our U-20 girls Rugby team on clinching a clinical victory over New Zealand.
This is just the beginning; Naye Bharat me koi bhi kaam asambhav nahi!
Encroachers in Dhubri - It's done bro!
