Kartik holds a special place in the hearts of devotees of Lord Krishna. According to Vedic scriptures, this auspicious month offers a wonderful opportunity to deepen our devotion through prayer, kirtan, chanting and offering lamps to Lord Damodara.
At ISKCON, devotees observe this sacred month with special devotion, remembering the beautiful pastime of Mother Yashoda binding little Krishna with ropes of love. Kartik Month reminds us that the Lord is pleased not by material opulence, but by sincere love and devotion. Let us make this sacred month an opportunity to strengthen our connection with Lord Krishna.
