Ambassador Manish Gupta visited @GNDistillery in Dundalk, a valued member of @DundalkChamber.
During the visit, Mr. John Teeling provided an insightful tour of the distillery that has a historic past and highlighted the growing importance of the Indian market.
The visit also included an economic briefing by Ms. Nikki Campbell, Head of Local Enterprise Office Louth, who highlighted County Louth’s strategic advantages and its potential as a hub for business growth and investment.
The interaction provided an opportunity to explore avenues for strengthening trade and business linkages between India and the Co. Louth.

The official website of the 19th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas (PBD) Convention will be launched on 11 November 2026 at 4 PM IST (10:30 AM Ireland time). Members of the Indian diaspora are invited to join the virtual launch.

The event brought together representatives from India's tourism industry, leading hotels, destination management companies and tourism organisations, alongside leading Irish travel agents and tour operators.
💠 The Union Cabinet approves the continuation of Fast Track Special Courts (FTSCs), including exclusive POCSO Courts, for five more years (2026–31).
💠 The scheme has a financial outlay of ₹3,788.04 crore, with the Central share funded through the Nirbhaya Fund.
💠#Cabinet approved the continuation of the Centrally Sponsored Scheme (CSS) for Fast Track Special Courts (FTSCs), including exclusive POCSO Courts, for a further period of five years i.e. from 01.04.2026 to 31.03.2031
💠The Scheme has a total financial outlay of Rs.3,788.04 crore (Central Share of Rs.2,353.15 crore and State/UT Share of Rs.1,434.89 crore). The Central Share will be funded from the Nirbhaya Fund
