One prediction I have is that Wispr will make dictation free in the coming months. The company might be waiting/training to release a fast/flash version of its own Canto model for that.

Exclusive: @DeepgramAI is acquiring @pipecat_ai, maker @trydaily, in a massive voice AI deal. Pipecat is an infrastructure component for a ton of voice AI developers.
Deepgram said that it aims to keep Pipecat open-source.

A whole rupees ONE LAKH fine for misleading claims on packaging by one of the largest fmcg brands in the country. What a joke.
The Central Consumer Protection Authority (CCPA) has imposed a penalty of ₹1 lakh on Britannia Industries Ltd for a misleading advertisement that claimed "100% whole wheat bread" even though the product's declared wheat content is just 62%.

Block released its Dessa full-duplex voice model over the weekend.
The model sounds expressive and human-like. But that might prove dangerious as many people pointed out such tech could be used to scam people
