Great news from @DrGupta46 on how @HHSgov is expanding access to a life-saving medication that can prevent death from opioid overdose. Medication to prevent deaths from overdose and medication for #OpioidUseDisorder are absolutely vital to combating the opioid epidemic.

Thanks @ReginaLabelle for bringing attention to such a serious issue. The evidence of racial disparities in access to opioid treatment is staggering and it’s imperative we find solutions so everyone can obtain the quality treatment options they need and deserve.

Loved reading this inspiring Q&A with @JBoorstin and @ShelleyZalis regarding the superpower skills of #women leaders. It’s encouraging to learn how using empathy, vulnerability and gratitude inspires greater D&I and to see how it is benefiting women-led businesses overall.

Thanks @levfacher for highlighting Dr. Nora Volkow’s call for expanded access to medications for #OpioidUseDisorder. People with opioid use disorder need more #recovery support and increasing access to treatment options is a pivotal step towards long-term solutions.

People living with #OpioidUseDisorder deserve accessible care, which is one reason why we are developing oral weekly treatment options at @LyndraInc. I’m thrilled to see how states across the U.S. are mobilizing to improve treatment systems and support.
107,000+ Americans died from an overdose in 2021. Some states—like Kentucky, Missouri, Rhode Island, and Alabama—are tracking and measuring an array of data to help improve #opioid use disorder care and save lives. pew.org/3fKESyJ

A growing number of #malaria outbreaks in African countries has heightened the call for new prevention solutions.@LyndraInc is working to develop a biweekly oral delivery option of ivermectin to decrease malaria #transmission where it’s needed most: businesswire.com/news/home/2…

Happy to retweet and join #MedTwitter in advocating for effective treatment options for people with opioid use disorder. @LyndraInc is doing its part by developing an oral weekly levomethadone and oral weekly buprenorphine for opioid use disorder.
Prescribing buprenorphine for patients with opioid use disorder (OUD) has been one of the most gratifying things I’ve done in medicine. I’m writing this with the hope that it will inspire more #MedTwitter people who aren’t yet doing so to start prescribing bupe. Please retweet.🧵

Thank you @alexmorrisNY for sharing this thought-provoking piece that will open the floor for new conversations around #psychosis and #treatment. Selena’s story, including challenges with finding the right treatment, will resonate with many people who experience psychosis.
Selena Gomez opens up to Rolling Stone about an episode of psychosis in 2018, hearing voices, the paranoia she felt in a treatment facility, the adverse effect too many medications had on her, and how she got better. trib.al/wZXipxI

Interesting report from @WHO regarding the future of #MalariaTransmission and treatment – it’s critical to continue developing new protective protocols and resources that can be used to fight this life-threatening disease.
Replying to @WHO
#Malaria is a life-threatening disease transmitted to people by mosquitoes. In a few years most people living in malaria-endemic countries will reside in cities. WHO launches a new guidance to prevent & manage malaria in urban areas 👉bit.ly/3zqgeKr

As the threat of malaria grows, @LyndraInc is developing a new tool in the fight against malaria -- bi-weekly oral ivermectin (LYN-163), which has the potential to reduce malaria transmission.
Absolutely agree @drjenwolkin! Eliminating stigma plays a pivotal role in the process of improving mental health services and advancing treatment options.
Mental Health Challenges are NO less impactful than Physical Challenges. Trauma, Anxiety, Addiction, Depression, Bipolar, Schizophrenia, need the same urgency of treatment as a broken ankle, diabetes, autoimmune disease, etc. Stigma stops HERE. Mental Health IS Health.

At @LyndraInc, we care about raising awareness for #MentalHealth and are optimistic about the impact that a once weekly medication option could have on reducing the stigma and burdens associated with taking your medication.
