I certainly don’t!
Lithium, nickel, cobalt…these are essential for EVs, batteries, electronics and defence. Yet, we remain heavily dependent on imports of refined materials.
To address this, the Cabinet has approved a scheme to change this.
Key highlights:
New critical mineral processing plants.
Capital subsidy to boost investment.
Greater domestic value addition.
Stronger supply chains.
The principle is clear...India must have capabilities to build technologies of the future!

Taking a significant decision today, the Union Cabinet chaired by PM Shri @narendramodi has approved a two-year ‘Second Tour of Duty’ for Agniveers under #Agnipath.
I sincerely thank PM Modi for taking the decision of additional 2-year ‘Second Tour of Duty’ for Agniveers under the Agnipath scheme. This would also provide enrollment of all willing Agniveers as regular soldiers after the tenure of 4/6 years, who meet the selection criteria.
This decision is continuation of long-term structural reforms of our defence forces, aimed at creating a younger, fitter, technologically equipped and future-ready military. It is not merely a recruitment policy; it is a way forward to prepare India's military for the changing character of warfare.

Attended the Northeast Tourism & Hospitality Skill Conclave 2026 in Guwahati, alongside Hon’ble Minister Sh @BiswajitDaimar5.
Led by @MSDESkillIndia, with support from @NSDCIndia and the @skillthsc, the Conclave focused on strengthening tourism-led skilling, industry partnerships and international mobility opportunities for the youth of the North-East.
The occasion also witnessed the exchange of an MoU between MSDE and the Government of Assam for establishing a Skill India International Centre (SIIC), and the exchange of LoIs of PM-SETU clusters with Numaligarh Refinery Limited and Oil India Limited.
These partnerships aim to strengthen industry-aligned skilling infrastructure, create opportunities, and equip the youth of the North-East with skills for emerging domestic and international markets!

Chief Minister has expressed gratitude to Prime Minister @narendramodi and Union Minister for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship @jayantrld for approving Strategic Investment Plans (SIPs) worth ₹475.41 crore under PM-SETU to upgrade key ITI clusters across Jammu & Kashmir.
Under this initiative, the Jammu ITI Cluster comprising ITI Jammu as hub along with R.S. Pura, Nowshera, Samba, and Kathua as spokes will be upgraded with an SIP of ₹240 Crore.
Similarly, the Srinagar ITI Cluster with ITI Srinagar as hub along with Ganderbal, Kangan, Budgam, and Charar-i-Sharief as spokes will be modernized with an SIP of ₹235.41 Crore.
Chief Minister said the initiative will modernise training infrastructure, strengthen industry linkages and equip J&K’s youth with job-ready skills and better employment opportunities.
