I periodically post this just because I love this graphic history of Dungeons and Dragons and am always surprised by how many people have never seen it before and I want to share it.

Yes, please
Yep. A victory for "normal" Conservatives. Should give incentive for the normals at the federal level to move against the populist hard liners at the controls under Poilievre. theglobeandmail.com/canada/a…

Great trailer! As much as I have a few issues with The Rings of Power adaptation (although they nail the look), I am certainly excited for Season 3… youtu.be/maP_Kyy3DCA?si=x10F…

One of the most storied dev studios in gaming history. Based out of Edmonton. Terribly sad.
That's pretty cool!
Great fun trading used guitar picks with Brian May of Queen.
He uses old sixpences, and was kind enough to find one with my birthyear at our concert this weekend. I use hard plastic ones, the mission emblem from my 3rd spaceflight.
(such a fine person, Sir Brian May, PhD astrophysicist & phenomenal musician/human, @DrBrianMay of @QueenWillRock)
Too much investment activity has essentially devolved into straight-up gambling IMHO - numbers detached from reality are going to come back to haunt us all.
See you there after work, Halifax!
The first Third Wednesday meetup of the Fall is after work today, Wed 21 Oct 5-7:30pm in the Cannery Bar at the Atlantica Hotel. Mingle & network with our friends from @DigitalNS & lots of interesting Halifax techies, plus don’t miss our 30-second intro/opportunity spots ~6pm!
Plus hear about how badly Truth Social is shedding users!
Can we predict the jobs robots will do? @jeffmacarthur and I chat about this - and lots more - on the podcast. Check out this week's headlines below (and get the full episode Wednesday at 7am wherever you get your podcasts!).
