We were honored to present you with the first American flag flown aboard our eVTOL, a small symbol of a big idea: the future of flight will be assembled, certified, and flown right here in the USA.
And this week, that future is taking off in Texas. 🇺🇸
The future of flight has arrived in Texas.
We're kicking off the state's first White House-backed eIPP flights in partnership with @TxDOT, flying real-world routes with true vertical lift aircraft across North Texas all week, including direct flights into @DFWAirport, one of the busiest airports in the world.

Big news: Joby is scheduled to fly our electric air taxi in Florida this Friday, October 30th, and everyone’s invited.
In 1914, the world’s first commercial flight lifted off the water in St. Petersburg and crossed Tampa Bay.
This week, we fly that route again.
Same bay, a very different aircraft. But one thing hasn’t changed: no runway necessary.

The Florida Department of Transportation intends to “streamline” its approval process for new airports to accelerate the arrival of electric air taxi service, a state official said Tuesday.
