Are you nice or are you kind?
For a long time, I'd wanted to be a nice manager.
What's wrong with being nice?!
As it turns out when you're a manager...quite a lot 😅

I built my first GPT, he’s a toxic boss 💀chat.openai.com/g/g-kHpm8BuF…
Experience a toxic boss who micromanages, has no vision or strategy, and is more concerned with sounding important than being helpful.

I talk about this in last week’s #GoodBossBadBoss episode, “What nobody tells you about hiring and firing”

Wanting to be nice comes from a desire of wanting to be liked.
And when you want to be liked, you want to be pleasant and don't want to upset people.

Sorry, let me see if I understand this: Andrew Tate was arrested by Romanian police today on charges of sex trafficking after he put out a video response in anger following Greta Thunberg nuking him from orbit because the video featured a pizza box that revealed his location.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
“Speculation online centered on whether a distinctive pizza box … had helped lead the authorities to him, but Ramona Bolla, a spokeswoman for the Directorate for the Investigation of Organized Crime and Terrorism, told The New York Times … that that was not the case.”
