New POLITICO data out today: only 25% of Americans believe political surveys correctly estimate votes. Distrust runs deep, especially among Republicans who’ve watched the industry undercount them in 2016, 2020, and 2024.

The Atlantic already documented the pattern. After years of “fixes,” pollsters still underestimated Trump by 2.9 points in 2024 (after missing him by 3.2 in 2016). They still haven’t figured out how to reliably reach enough of his voters.
The media runs the most depressing numbers at the exact moment they can suppress GOP enthusiasm, dry up donations, and convince people their vote doesn’t matter. We’ve seen the playbook. We’ve also seen what happens when we ignore it and show up anyway.
Your vote is the only poll that counts. Don’t let the fake or biased numbers talk you out of it.
Get to the polls. Bring someone with you. Prove them wrong again.
