It’s not always about the big leaps. Sometimes, baby steps work best, even though they might feel pretty scary. ⬇️
6 months ago I left the comfort and stability of a salary. I also left targets, external expectations and traditional practice where your worth is measured in numbers and success is measured through reported litigation. This path was not for me. ⬇️
I have more time time to be present with my family, and to work on my creative goals. I have not issued any applications for litigation. I have resolved cases through solutions, strategy and discussion. ⬇️
Today, I’m consulting and slowly building a sustainable business, with low overheads, focused on working with select clients and providing them with a bespoke solution to their legal issues. My productivity is higher. My caseload is growing.
It was a big decision. I took myself out of the race because I wanted to work in a legal practice focused on solution, not conflict and where success is measured differently. ⬇️
