Every film I’ve ever made has had a piece of this score under the offline edit. Every single one.
New Sparke on Film is up…. THE ROCK (1996), the film I keep stealing from. Why Hummel is the best-written villain in 90s action, how they lit it with mirror tiles on plywood, and the two moments in Occupation that came straight out of it.

SPARKE ON FILM is a new series where I go back through the films that shaped me… and occasionally the ones I worked on or made myself, and talk about how they were actually made, from someone who does this for a living. New episodes every second sunday.

I have a HUGE favor to ask. Please LIKE our @Kickstarter campaign--The Complete Digital Archive of every issue of @FilmThreat Magazine (all the rare 80s and 90s issues) and a hardcover book, The Film Threat Compendium: A History of Independent Film--this project that has been over a decade in the making! Like and share would help a lot. It's really important that we get enough likes to get our campaign recommended. Thank you! kickstarter.com/projects/tha… #FilmThreatBook #SupportIndieFilm
Working on a memoir book of my life to this point and my time in this industry.
I realized I had a very unique upbringing and journey…
But MAN it’s going to be interesting to reveal so much factual behind the scenes, stories, anecdotes and more!
Final draft in hand.
Looking forward to the next half of the year where we’ll be doing the @_PrimitiveWar sequel and Dino’s of the Wild West back to back!
Can’t wait to finalize casting and get into these! Both extremely exciting!

PRIMITIVE WAR hit #1 on @paramountplus
Huge news for our small team, THANK YOU UK & IRELAND!
Now it’s time to hold strong and stay up there ✊ Hit play and tell your mates…
“Director Luke Sparke nicely blends war and dinosaurs into one hell of a splatterfest in Primitive War. Boasting a fantastic set piece and some excellent performances, this wacky action horror stops at nothing to give you an intensely fun viewing experience!”

We’re #1 in Japan!
In “limited releases” @_PrimitiveWar is number 1 in the box office.
The idea was to secure a good ranking and then expand out bigger and bigger each week. Well we secured the top spot! Let’s see how big we can expand.
Thanks to the Japanese fans!
