❗️Humanitarian Mission to Oleshky: Demining Completed, Humanitarian Convoy Ready for Dispatch Preparations for the humanitarian mission to Oleshky have reached their final stage. Demining of the designated routes has been completed, and the humanitarian convoy has been assembled and is ready for dispatch. It is expected to arrive at the central hospital, where all necessary assistance will be provided to civilians. ‼️Those wishing to leave the city will have the opportunity to do so until 2:00 p.m. All necessary security measures will be put in place. Humanitarian aid distribution is scheduled to begin after 2:30 p.m. ☝️Representatives of the Ukrainian, Russian and United States delegations have gathered to coordinate further steps within the humanitarian mission. Journalists from all three countries are also present. We are carrying out this humanitarian mission jointly with Yana Lantratova, Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation, with the mediation and coordination of U.S. First Lady Melania Trump. Our shared goal is to deliver humanitarian assistance to the civilian population and facilitate the safe departure of everyone wishing to leave the city. 👉 I am grateful to U.S. @FLOTUS for her personal involvement, mediation and coordination efforts, which made it possible to reach important humanitarian agreements. We continue working with Yana Lantratova to ensure their implementation. Our unwavering priority is the lives and safety of civilians.

I am still on my way to Oleshky. Our humanitarian mission is ongoing. ℹ️ I see that people on social media are already commenting that I am on the territory of the Russian Federation. Many questions and provocative messages are emerging. I want to clarify: I am going there to be on the ground in person and see what is happening firsthand, and to keep you informed about the progress of the mission. I ask you to trust official sources and not draw conclusions based on unverified reports. ☝️ One cannot even imagine how difficult these negotiations have been, and how long they took to get me to where I am now. But we have only made it halfway toward our goal. That is why I ask you to please hold all questions until I return home. Once again, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to everyone who helped make this mission possible, including citizens of the United States of America who contributed to this process. My thanks also go to all Ukrainians who took part in rallies abroad and made sure that the issue of Oleshky did not disappear from the public agenda. Because when it comes to saving people, it is important to be there with them. It is important to understand what is happening on the ground and to make every possible effort to ensure that the agreement reached is implemented. And if I had to go there to save just one person, I would do it again. I believe this is my duty as Ombudsman. When there are people — our people — who need help, we must save them. Period.

This effort is being carried out through the mediation and coordination of U.S. First Lady Melania Trump (@FLOTUS), who has helped the parties reach the necessary agreement and move toward its practical implementation. 👉 Since October 27, the ceasefire has been in effect in designated areas, and the parties have been observing it. Route demining is currently underway. This is a crucial step toward ensuring the safe delivery of humanitarian aid and enabling civilians who wish to leave the city to do so. Within the framework of the agreement reached by Yana Lantratova and me as heads of the negotiating teams, we continue working to implement the mission. Our shared goal is to ensure that people receive assistance and have the opportunity to reach safety. We remain committed to this effort, putting the lives and safety of civilians first.

Ceasefire in Oleshky: Agreement Being Fully Honored ❗️As of 5:30 p.m. on October 27, Ukraine and Russia are adhering to the ceasefire agreement in designated areas related to the humanitarian mission. The ceasefire came into effect today at 3:00 a.m. Kyiv time and 4:00 a.m. Moscow time. The ceasefire will remain in effect until 10:59 p.m. on November 1. No ceasefire violations have been recorded by either side. We are carrying out the humanitarian mission jointly with Yana Lantratova, Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation, with the mediation and coordination of U.S. First Lady Melania Trump (@FLOTUS). ‼️I hope that everything will continue in accordance with the agreed plan and that we will be able to help the civilians in Oleshky who are eagerly awaiting assistance.
