It was an honour to lay a wreath at the Cenotaph this morning.
This Sunday we remember all those who never came home, the families who never stopped waiting and we pay tribute to all those who wear the uniform today.
This is our magnificent country at its very best: Solemnly saluting those who gave their lives to preserve our freedoms. It's a reminder of how precious they are and why we must always be ready to beat off all of those who would seek to snatch them away from us. UK Rules 🇬🇧

I don't understand why this guy Karl Bushby is feted as some sort of hero. He got up 28 years ago and decided that instead of going to work he'd walk around the world: And he's just got back. Anybody could cop out of living and do that. What a terrible waste of a life 👎 🧐
Well I've been to many more countries than him .. Often got there on a business class flight .. Usually stayed in 4* Hotels and met Prime Ministers, Presidents, The Pope, Pop-stars and Life's top players while earning good dosh along the way 👍😁 .. He's wasted his life 👎🧐 ..

I fully support Glasgow Museum's decision to take an Egyptian mummy off display. Everybody deserves dignity in death and I've always thought it horrible to effectively display dead bodies .. How would we react if it was our granny. The living have a duty to look after the dead.
