We also emphasised the funding of the upgrading of our water, electricity, road and sewage infrastructure.

WATCH] THE TOUGH TASK OF OUR COUNCILLORS
Being a councillor is very hard because you deal with the day to day issues affecting our people every single day, the first person community members go to when they encounter issues are councillors. Our councillors must be treated well and also treat our communities well, when they encounter problems in the municipalities they must hold community meetings to explain to the community and give solutions. We are very confident that our councillors candidates here are councillors candidates who are loved by the people.

[WATCH]ACCESS TO WATER, ELECTRICITY AND HOUSING ARE KEY PRIORITIES OF THE ANC
We are saying to our municipalities that when jobs opportunities arise young people must be prioritised. They must not be blocked from job opportunities because of experience, they must get experience on the job and these job opportunities must also go beyond those who are 35 and still youthful.
We have since 1994 prioritised 3 things. One is water, it is a basic essential for our day to day lives, the next thing is electricity and we dealing with the transformers issue here in uMshwati, the third is housing, people need to have shelter. That is the work of the ANC.

Hullet Tongaat was on the brink of closing but the ANC led government intervened and ensured that Hullet Tongaat continues to operate and our people’s jobs are saved.
On Thursday our Finance Minister Cde Enoch Godongawa introduced the Mid Term Budget Speech where the government laid out plans to lower the rising cost of living but cutting the fuel levy on the 4th of November to assist with lowering paraffin and petrol prices thus food prices.
