The newsletter is dead. AI agents are going to read it before your subscribers do.
At least, that’s @danshipper's take. As CEO of Every, a company that writes about AI and builds AI software, Dan's about as close to the cutting edge as anyone I know.
I’ve spent 13 years building my career around email, so this was difficult to hear. But as much as I hate to admit it, I think Dan might be right.
The good news is there’s still time to adapt. In this episode, Dan shares what you can start doing now to make sure your emails still reach your audience.
Has anyone had success interacting with Grokbot through Slack? I want to make it a full fledged teammate.
I have it reading Slack (wildly helpful), but want to be able to @ mention inside regular conversations.
Ramit Sethi told me I’m not good on camera yet.
Most people put 90% of their effort into getting on big podcasts and 10% into the actual delivery. He told me to invert that, because on the biggest shows you usually only get one shot.

Recently, I texted a few of my favorite creators to see if they wanted to stop by @kit Studios. They said yes, so I took a last-minute trip to New York.
With the studios, our biggest priority is investing in our customers and creating as much value for them as possible. The return for Kit comes second.
While I was there, I also recorded two new podcast episodes with Seth Godin @ThisIsSethsBlog and @danshipper and joined Paula Pant @AffordAnything on her podcast. I can’t wait for you to hear the episodes.
It was such a fun trip.
Offering to work for free is one of the worst ways to get someone’s attention.
Asking “How can I help?” leaves them to figure out how you could be useful. Instead, offer something specific that helps them reach their goal.

My friend Erica just used @Kit Signals to discover one of the most famous biographers alive today reads her newsletter.
The insights you can get are pretty crazy!

Do you want to know how to get into rooms with people several levels above you?
@JaysonGaignard is the reason about 50 of my favorite entrepreneur friends are in my life. In this episode, he shares how to find your people, invest in them, and ask for help.
There is no greater drive than the fear of going back.
Philip McKernan explains how that fear can fuel success, become exhausting, and leave you afraid to let go.

How guilty are you of saying this?
Philip McKernan caught me using the word "just" to describe what my book could help someone do. It can make valuable work sound insignificant.

If you had to give one last talk to the world, what would you say?
If you’re not sure, you might not be doing the work you’re meant to do yet. Philip McKernan, author of One Last Talk, coached me live on the show, and my anxiety about promoting my book went from a 5 to a 0.
My episode on the @teambossbabe podcast with @NatalieEllis91 is out now.
I shared what’s working for the most successful creator businesses on @kit, including how some creators make seven figures a year with fewer than 5,000 email subscribers.
Had so much fun recording this episode, thanks for having me on.

Today was a ton of fun at @kit Studios NYC.
There's nothing like the energy from a dozen creators all making content in six different studios.
Growing an audience gets easier when another creator shares theirs with you.
Domonkos Eross says creator partnerships are the #1 source of growth right now. Swap newsletter recommendations, guest on each other's podcasts, or collaborate on Instagram.

I graduated high school at 15 and dropped out of college at 17. Last week, I taught a class at @HarvardHBS.
People don’t teach because they’re experts. They’re seen as experts because they teach. So don’t wait until you feel ready to share.

Today, Kit makes $55+ million a year, powering the newsletters of the world’s largest creators. Documenting my entire journey built my brand as a founder. That’s what I taught at Harvard.
