इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स एवं सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी राज्य मंत्री श्री जितिन प्रसाद ने 5 नवंबर, 2026 को हंगरी स्थित वैश्विक प्रौद्योगिकी कंपनी Foxconn (Hon Hai) की उन्नत विनिर्माण इकाई का दौरा किया और नेक्स्ट-जेन AI सर्वर, नेटवर्क डिवाइसेज तथा डेटा सेंटर इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर के निर्माण एवं उत्पादन क्षमताओं का अवलोकन किया।
उल्लेखनीय है कि हंगरी से वैश्विक स्तर पर निर्यात होने वाली कुल डिजिटल डेटा प्रोसेसिंग यूनिट्स का लगभग एक-चौथाई भारत को प्राप्त होता है। यह भारत के तेजी से बढ़ते डिजिटल इकोसिस्टम और AI कंप्यूटिंग इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर की बढ़ती मांग को दर्शाता है।
प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी जी के नेतृत्व में भारत का लक्ष्य इस साझेदारी को केवल आयात तक सीमित न रखते हुए सह-विकास, प्रौद्योगिकी हस्तांतरण और घरेलू हाई-टेक विनिर्माण को बढ़ावा देना है।

The MeitY–IndiaAI Chhattisgarh Centre of Excellence in Artificial Intelligence (AI-CoE) at @NITRR is now inaugurated and all set to accelerate AI-driven research, indigenous innovation and industry collaboration.
With a project outlay of ₹20 crore, the Centre will advance AI applications across Mining & Minerals, Steel & Industries, and Healthcare & Multidisciplinary domains.
With 12 startups already incubated and strategic partnerships, including MoUs with CMDC and AIIMS Raipur, the Centre is poised to translate research into practical solutions, nurture entrepreneurship and strengthen Chhattisgarh's AI innovation ecosystem.
Supported by the IndiaAI Mission, MeitY, Government of India, and the Government of Chhattisgarh, the Centre marks another step towards building a self-reliant AI ecosystem and advancing the vision of Viksit Bharat.
