okay so this is now up - a speed #pico8 game where you are a time-travelling UFO collecting New Year's Eve firework debris for... reasons

I'm on Mastodon. I don't post a lot there but I post a lot more than I do here.

Will this website get dramatically worse in the next few days? Yes
But will this website see an increase in weird nerds defending billionaires? Also yes
jfc I come back on Twitter for five minutes and I end up getting into a pointless argument
this is why I hate this thing
I told my therapist I was way past online arguments, too
I mean sure, riddles and puzzles are not set out in the DMG. Along with many other things. Yes they are based around player ability not character skill, but so is... combat, a complete metagaming process in 5e.
I think riddles and puzzle suck in games btw, groaningly tiresome.

I miss lockdown.
I actually do. There was a brief period where being isolated and unhappy was thought of as reasonable, something we all felt, a shared experience, didn't mark you out as a failure. Now it's back to you being a loser again.

I had a bad evening yesterday and threw a lot of things around the flat and when I woke up this morning I found this had actually made it tidier

This is your evening reminder! There are only 24 hours left to back The Weird! Once the campaign ends, we take all that weird goodness and hoard it to ourselves and our backers*!
*Until late pledges open; we wouldn't keep that from you

Britons are divided on many matters, but one uniting force that cuts across regional, party and class lines is jealous pride for the NHS and fierce resistance to its privatisation and the importation of America's grisly omnishambolic health care "system." 1/
ALT A haunted, ruined hospital building. A sign hangs askew over the entrance with the NHS logo over the Palantir logo. Beneath it, a cutaway silhouette reveals a blood-spattered, scalpel-wielding surgeon with a Palantir logo over his breast, about to slice into a frightened patient with an NHS logo over his breast. Looming over the scene are the eyes of Peter Thiel, bloodshot and sinister. NEW @trussliz has told King Charles not to attend @COP27P next month. The King,a lifelong environmentalist, planned to be at the summit in Egypt to give a keynote speech and attend engagements. In contrast, the Queen gave an address to @COP26 last year

Being born without my permission, then having to work to survive doesn’t sit right in my spirit.
If you can find out what the hell is happening at the #NottingHillCarnival this weekend from their site/socials/app you're a lot smarter than I am. Handy details like "where are things" and "when are they happening" oh noooo nobody needs to know that. The app is particularly bad.
