On National First Responders Day, we thank every brave individual who has dedicated their life to helping people in a crisis. These jobs are demanding, unpredictable and dangerous, but your commitment to your communities saves lives.

Patterns in drug trafficking may change, but when we collaborate with our federal, state and local partners, we make a difference. I am proud to be a part of such a dedicated collaborative effort protecting Pennsylvanians every day.

Protecting consumers and their hard earned dollars is something I will always prioritize in my administration. Today I was proud to open the @NatlAssnAttysGn Consumer Protection conference, as co-chair of the organization’s Consumer Protection Committee.

Eight years later, we remember the 11 victims of the Tree of Life massacre, and hold the survivors and their families in our hearts. May their memory be a blessing. The strength the Pittsburgh and Squirrel Hill community have shown every year since proves that no one can take the light from neighbors, friends and family who care about each other.
