.@24tix when did yall decide to become the service we hate? You've raised your fees akin to Ticketmaster. Therefore, why do we need you?

Democrats have always had the coolest celebs. And by the same token, I guess they think they move the needle.
I love being back in Michigan. There’s a lot at stake in this election, but one thing is clear: @KamalaHarris and @Tim_Walz are ready to lead our country forward and deliver for the American people. But that can only happen if we all vote. So vote early by mail, in person or on November 5th, and reach out to your friends, family, and coworkers and help them make a plan to vote, too. TL;dr for voters. Leaders of our legislature tried slipping some laws past ya, and the courts decided otherwise. A win if you believe a separation of powers is important for a functioning democracy/government.
HAPPENING NOW: The Utah Supreme Court is hearing arguments over Amendment D -- and whether it can stay on the ballot. There are two questions to be argued, is the ballot language misleading and did the #utleg violate a publication requirement? I'll thread as much as possible here and see you live on @KSL5TV at noon. 🧵

They're called "friends"
It’s so nice to hang out with confident people, they don’t take general criticism personally, there is no need to be politically correct, you don’t have to worry about facts hurting their feelings, everyone saves time, everyone’s life gets better.

Journalists gain credibility by reporting reality.
Via @MarkLeibovich The praise parade began within minutes of Biden’s exit announcement on Sunday. Breathless statements rolled in from big-name Democrats about how selfless, statesmanlike, and heroic Biden was for finally submitting to reality. Obama, Nancy Pelosi, and Chuck Schumer all released communiqués hailing Biden as “a genuine public servant” (Obama), “one of the most consequential presidents in American history” (Pelosi), and someone who “put his country, his party, and our future first” (Schumer). They all conveniently left out the words “kicking and screaming,” “took him long enough,” and “after stewing and dillydallying for nearly a month.” In fact, to varying degrees, each of these leaders had been running out of patience with Biden, and was convinced he would lose to former President Donald Trump and possibly cost Democrats the House and Senate. theatlantic.com/politics/arc…
