HBO Max DOES release numbers for live simulcasts when they exceed 1 million viewers with the streaming side only bringing in 100k+. That's how we know AEW isn't doing 300k-500k streaming.
BJ Bethel is the only person (besides Dave Meltzer citing BJ) who claims AEW does 500k on Max and that ESPN wants to cancel their partnership with WWE during year 1 of 5. BJ just got fired from his job for not even knowing how/who/what to source information correctly.
ESPN DID come out to publicly denounce this notion and are tripling down on their relationship with WWE.
What works for AEW and WWE is reality, something you all seem to struggle with when it comes to AEW!
I love how the metrics work only for AEW.
HBO Max doesn't release viewership numbers for AEW programming: the numbers must be really low, no one is watching, otherwise they would release the numbers. WBD now Skydance must be very unhappy with AEW.
ESPN doesn't release viewership numbers for WWE PLEs: So what if they don't release the numbers. No one is asking them to. ESPN is very, very, very happy with WWE. Not releasing the numbers doesn't mean a thing.

Keys personally recruited Hayes because of his “pit bull mindset that hasn’t been seen yet” which was stated immediately after the RAW when he joined the group.
Hayes also dislikes Solo because 4 years ago when Solo first joined Bloodline on the main roster, he randomly went back to NXT and stole Hayes’ North American Title which WWE made him vacate.
Cruz just joined and they’ll explain that too, but he also has beef with Zilla Fatu in NXT and I’m sure that’ll factor into things.
The Good: Putting Cruz Montana in such a prominent position on the main roster right away. It helps build new stars, adds fresh faces to the mix, and creates more fuel for the road to #SurvivorSeries and WarGames.
The Bad: You’ve now added two new members to 946, and we still don’t know why. Three weeks ago, Carmelo Hayes was added with no real explanation, and now Cruz Montana joins the group.
#WWE needs to give us some context. Why have two guys with seemingly no connection to each other joined this group? And more importantly, what do either of them have against The Bloodline?
I’m all for introducing new talent and building factions, but there needs to be a story behind it.
