The internet's infrastructure is controlled by three companies.
When they go down, everything goes down.
When they change pricing, you pay more.
When they receive a court order, your app goes offline.
We built an alternative.

Drainers need your signature. Zelcore 8.40 screens dApps for known scams before you connect, now on Cardano and Kaspa (@kaspaunchained). If you see a warning, pause and read the domain character by character. No site needs your seed phrase. Your keys derive on your device.

Paste a WalletConnect link into @SSPWallet_io and the dApp session lands on your computer, on a wallet that can't sign anything by itself. Every transaction makes a second trip to the key on your phone, and that key signs only what it can verify. A drainer site can open a session, but there's no single key on that machine to take. SCUM has 437 server settings. On Flux, each one is a field in a single form in your browser.
The Forest gets five save slots, so you can start fresh without deleting the old world.
Abiotic Factor covers PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
Three more survival worlds take the Flux games hub to 35 games. Restarts, backups and settings are all in the dashboard.
The web is building a permissions layer, and it fits in a text file.
OpenAI, Google, Microsoft and Anthropic will honor one IETF policy token in robots.txt for AI scraping preferences. A site states its preferences once, in a standard place.
Google and Microsoft follow in 2027.
The scraping started years before the standard, so the consent layer arrives late.
Flux has run on opt-in participation from the start: independent nodes in 50+ countries, each one there because its owner chose to add the hardware.
Permission layers work best when joining is voluntary.
Have an idea for Flux, @zelcore_io, @SSPWallet_io or FluxCloud? Post it and get paid if we build it.
How it works:
- One idea per post in #feature-requests on the Flux Discord: what you're trying to do, and what gets in the way.
- Upvote the ideas you want.
- The team reviews the most upvoted every month.
- When an idea ships, the first person who posted it gets the Idea Shipped role, a mention in the announcement and 25 FLUX, paid at the start of the next month.
There's a cap of 500 FLUX per person a month, and team members and contractors aren't eligible.
What's the one thing you'd fix first?

CumulusVPN 1.3.3 is out: 50 Mbit/s steady, 200 Mbit/s burst, no data caps. The Android kill switch holds through route drops, country switches and multi-hop. Live on Google Play now; the iOS App Store update is on its way.

October's security review turned into three releases this week, all inside two days: SSP Wallet v2.2.1, SSP Key v2.2.1 and Zelcore 8.40.1. In @SSPWallet_io the app now serves one dApp request at a time and returns BUSY to any second one, so a page can't stack a prompt over the one you're reading. SSP Key recomputes the typed-data digest on the device before you approve, so nobody swaps what you see for what gets signed. And Zelcore 8.40.1, the follow-up to @zelcore_io's Safer Swaps and Sends release, is out on desktop and mobile. This one ended in release tags instead of a PDF. Three releases in two days, all fixes from October's security review.
In @SSPWallet_io, v2.2.1 takes one dApp request at a time and returns BUSY for a second, so nothing overlaps a signature in flight.
SSP Key v2.2.1 recomputes the digest on its own device before it signs.
Zelcore 8.40.1 from @zelcore_io resolves every send and swap to one network-confirmed status, desktop and mobile.

58% of deployments on Flux are now private or encrypted, per the November census from @RunOnFlux. Encryption is the expectation now, not a checkbox. A default is a promise you don't have to read.

'Sign' isn't a handshake. It's EIP-712 typed data — the exact digest you approve. v2.2.1 signs the real digest; a second concurrent request gets BUSY/4001. No wallet, SSP included, can judge if terms are fair. SSP makes sure you sign what you saw 👇 sspwallet.io/newsroom
New on Flux Games: Icarus.
A prospect is a long project, from the outpost and the mining line to the base that finally survives the storms. Peer to peer, it lives on the host's PC and stops when they log off.
A dedicated Icarus server keeps it running for up to 8 prospectors, whoever is playing.
Live in about 30 seconds. Every server setting in a form, prospects you can switch, upload and download, admins by SteamID, automatic updates and backups. No SSH or SteamCMD.
Pick from 50+ countries. Plans from $8.49/month, first week free for new users.
Get yours:
Last week two frontier models shipped in two days: Gemini 4 Carbon took the top spot on the Artificial Analysis Intelligence Index, and Mistral's Le Chonk came fifth among open-weights models.
They'll trade places again before long. Meanwhile your agent runs somewhere, and where it runs decides who holds its logs, prompts and keys.
The November census counted 200+ self-hosted agents on Flux nodes: 179 OpenClaw, 31 Hermes.
Running yours:
- package the agent as an app and register it with the network
- FluxOS places it on independent nodes in 50+ countries
- live application logs in FluxOS v8.18, so you can watch it work
- the model key stays in your own app config
Pick the model you like this week. Swap it when the next one lands. The agent stays where you put it.
Spotted a bug in Zelcore @zelcore_io, SSP @SSPWallet_io, FluxCloud or any other Flux product? A bug that gets fixed pays FLUX.
Drop it in the bug-reports channel on the Flux Discord, one bug per post. Include the product and version, your device, the steps you took, what you expected and what happened, plus a screenshot. Blur addresses and balances.
The first person to report a bug that gets fixed gets the Bug Hunter role and the reward: 10 FLUX for minor, 25 for normal, 100 for major. Payment goes out the month after the fix ships.
Cap of 500 FLUX per person a month. Team members and contractors aren't eligible.
Security issues never go in public. Email [email protected] instead; those are covered by the bug bounty of up to 10,000 FLUX.
No one from the team will ever ask for your seed phrase, private key or password.

Zelcore 8.40 is out. Swap and send outcomes are confirmed with the network for Solana Token-2022 and top KRC-20 tokens too. dApp scam screening now covers Cardano and Kaspa @kaspaunchained. Desktop has 8.40.1; mobile follows. Your keys still derive on your device.
November census: 2,298 applications on Flux, up 20% in October and nearly double the count at the September whitepaper.
6,912 nodes, and every tier is up.
1,219 of those apps are game servers, 53% of everything running on the network. Dragonwilds alone: 692.
58% of the network is private.
200+ self-hosted AI agents run on Flux: 179 OpenClaw, 31 Hermes.
All of this in the month of the first block-reward reduction.
The Forest is live on Flux Games.
In co-op the island lives on the host's PC and stops when they log off. A dedicated server keeps it online for the whole group, whoever is playing.
Plans from $6.49/month for 4 to 8 players, and you can raise the count anytime. First week free for new users.
Five save slots, new worlds in any difficulty, or upload the save from your co-op run. Every server setting is a form in the browser, so there's no SteamCMD or SSH.
An admin password gets you /kick, /ban and /save, plus backups, daily restarts, DDoS protection and nodes in 50+ countries. The server checks Steam every 30 minutes and restarts onto a new build once nobody is playing. Provisioning takes about 30 seconds.
Drop is live.
Free static hosting on Flux, no account or email needed. Drag an HTML file, a ZIP or a whole folder onto the page and you get a live link at drop.app.runonflux.io.
Up to 50 MiB or 5,000 files, replicated across Flux nodes, sandboxed. Want a page kept private? Give it a password.
