Hi @elonmusk can you allow us to choose whether the volume automatically lowers when in reverse? Or at least an option to not do that when FSD is activated?
Typical manually driven cars don’t do this ever, and I don’t think the volume is distracting the FSD system.
Wish I could ask Grok to tweak my feed by just describing the kinds of posts and what types of content I no longer want to see in my feed, or what I’d like to see more of, in natural language. @nikitabier
Getting this far too often. Probably going to cancel my subscription to X. This is ridiculous. Use a cheaper model or whatever but I’m not paying to be upsold.
Apparently I’ve been on this site for five years now. Feels much longer!

Instead of doomscrolling on the toilet I now issue commands to my personal AI assistant running on a machine at my house.
Taking a bit of a step back from social media while I try to develop healthier habits and routines.
Feels unhealthy.
My immediate question is why not just build this into the smart phone? Who wants to carry around a third “core” thing, let alone a second thing?
WSJ on Jony Ive and Sam Altman’s OpenAI device:
• The product will be capable of being fully aware of a user's surroundings and life, will be unobtrusive, able to rest in one's pocket or on one's desk, and will be a third core device a person would put on a desk after a MacBook Pro and an iPhone.
• The Journal earlier reported that the device won't be a phone, and that Ive and Altman's intent is to help wean users from screens.
• Altman said that the device isn't a pair of glasses, and that Ive had been skeptical about building something to wear on the body.

Both the older version and the newer version of the state department procurement list have incorrect procurement codes.. I hope this isn't indicative of the typical level of effort put into documents like this by government organizations. This is simply more proof we need audits and improvements to processes. This is human error. @elonmusk

Wild we have people openly celebrating terrorist attacks on this platform. From Luigi, to lying about the cyber truck explosion etc just for some recent examples.
I’m all for free speech but it’s still sad to see. Not positive New Year content. 😐
Exciting roadmap update from Cake Wallet! 🎊 Happy to see Decred on the list for support in 2025.
I’ve used Cake Wallet for self-custody of Monero and Litecoin and have been impressed by the UX, and I believe mobile wallets are huge if we really want to see the use of cryptocurrencies for more than a speculative ngu commodity, and to expose more people to the benefit of decentralization and less to the risk of centralization.
