The President is describing war crimes. America doesn't have money for child care, but we have enough money to bomb every bridge in Iran? It's sick and wrong.
I've voted to end this war, and I'll keep voting to stop it—but we can only put an end to this if Republicans join us.
Trump: We have a plan because of the power of our military, where every bridge in Iran will be decimated by 12 tomorrow night, where every power plant in Iran will be out of business, burning, exploding, and never to be used again. I mean, complete demolition by 12 and it will happen over a period of four hours if we wanted to. We don't want that to happen. We may even get involved with helping them rebuild their nation. And you know what? If that's the case, the last thing we want to do is start with power plants, which are among the most expensive thing. And bridges. You saw the bridge, the bridge went. We were very close to a deal. And then I got a call from Mr. Witkoff, Mr. Kushner and JD saying, I think they're breaking the deal. I said, tell them that's okay, don't worry about it, but tell them to look out their window and watch. And within 45 minutes, I gave the order to knock out the biggest bridge. I gave the order knock out the biggest bridge in, I believe, the Middle East, but the biggest bridge in Iran. And within ten minutes after I gave that order, that bridge was was over.

Over the course of a lifetime, we face only a few moments where the decisions we make and the actions we take will shape our history for years to come. This is one of them.

Last year, the United States faced 22 extreme weather and climate-related disaster events costing over $1B.
We can't afford not to act. That's why the Bipartisan Infrastructure Framework will invest $52B to help our communities become more resilient to a changing climate.

For everyone dismissing #COVID19 as “just the flu” or dismissively saying “99.99% survive”, tell me the last time we stationed freezer trucks outside hospitals all over the country to serve as overflow morgues.

It’s time to put away the harsh rhetoric.
To lower the temperature.
To see each other again.
To listen to each other again.
