I have never cared too much about Star Trek, though I did want to revisit some of what I'd seen before. Maybe now is a good time to watch The Next Generation for the first time instead? Patrick Stewart's character sounds so ... Inspiring.
We mourn the passing of Patrick Stewart, who inspired countless individuals at NASA (and beyond) to boldly go where no one has gone before.
An adaptation of Dune: Messiah should feel like the most colossal movie ever put to screen. After Dune: Part Two, I thought they couldn't go any bigger, but they did. The scale of these IMAX shots is pure insanity. That's what an intergalactic Empire should look and feel like.

Avatar: Seven Havens delivered 4 great episodes to finish its first Season. While I do think the series suffers from having too many characters, many of whom feel underdeveloped, Pavi and Nisha's journey in these episodes was fantastic. The animation felt more refined, the stakes were all there and the payoffs worked beautifully. The final episode is a very good ending for this first unit of the narrative, leaving us with an interesting conflict and a great set up for an exciting journey that feels like this story is just beginning.
I wish we had gotten more answers about Korra's time and there were lots of shots in the trailer that were either cut from the episodes or are actually from Season 2, so in that regard I was slightly let down, but I know that in time, we will get all the answers we yearn for. Loved the sequence where the past incarnations are shown as start constellations and in general, I think this series carried on the mythos of this franchise beautifully.
Overall, thanks to the great world-building and its good cast of main characters, I found this a very enjoyable season. Not perfect and it didn't have the punch that Korra Season 1 had in my eyes, but it's a very strong foundation for what comes next.
Full ranking of the franchise because so many people have done it:
1. Korra Season 3
2. ATLA Season 3
3. Korra Season 4
4. ATLA Season 2
5. Korra Season 1
6. Seven Havens Season 1
7. ATLA Season 1
8. Korra Season 2
9. Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender (movie)
Deepest pits of hell:
Netflix Avatar series, Shyamalan's movie.

If Dune came out today it would be called like A House of Spice and Sand
We went from people being ADAMANT that Villeneuve's Dune movies would not shows us a Guild Navigator to an Edric Popcorn bucket and softdrink cup. Never doubt Denis.
This cannot be real 😭😭😭
Glad to see Dune is still going strong after being the franchise that started the silly popcorn bucket trend in the first place.
Clever misdirection / omission of context from the trailer that makes it seem like Chani intends to kill Paul. I don't think the movie will take this route at all. Feel like this went above lots of people's heads & fueled those who already hated movie Chani in the first place.
Oh my god. Yes. Yes. Yes. I have never seen either movie in IMAX, this is amazing.
For one week only, Dune and Dune: Part Two return to IMAX. Plus witness an exclusive sneak peek of Dune: Part Three. Tickets on sale Friday. #DuneMovie #FilmedForIMAX
It's difficult to pinpoint the best casting of the Dune Trilogy, considering these movies have some of our finest veteran actors and almost every movie star of the younger generation you could think of, but this ... This might be in the top 3 for me.
To even have her be such a presence in Part Two was a brilliant choice. Knowing that her real time to shine is yet to come makes me incredibly excited. Fascinating character and I love how much effort they put into her costumes and make-up in both films. She's a type of character I have never seen before.
Despite the many exciting adaptational changes, it seems like Villeneuve is keeping Messiah's brilliant ending largely the same. Chalamet portraying the agony of Paul's loss will be a scene for the ages.
Kinda insane how many people are turning against Greig Fraser everytime a new Dune: Part Three trailer is released. He shot 2 of the most stunning blockbusters of the century and absolutely deserves his praise; really weird behaviour from people who claimed to love these movies.
