Kind of self-own'd here huh xitter.cf/theo/status/2113424203…
I wrote this so I never have to explain it again.

At T3 Code, we take regressions like this seriously.
I just introduced a "noEmDashCopy" lint rule to prevent this going forward 🫡
btw, em dash detected. you will hate this and need to fix this @theo
I’ve had many situations where I didn’t realize my internet was degraded because T3 Code kept running flawlessly
Just had a situation where @t3dotcodes managed to help me browse web. I wasn't able to open any website on E mobile data but was able to seamlessly stream my T3 Code chats so I used it to browse news with AI
Thanks @theo @jullerino
prime time to switch to @heliumbrowser
We've decided to sunset Arc on December 22, 2026.
That's not an easy sentence to write. We spent years building Arc and celebrating each and every release along the way: we have so much pride and love for what we made alongside the Arc community.
Our priority is to deliver best-in-class security for our members. Keeping a browser secure takes constant, dedicated work that is only increasing in the age of AI. Dia was built from the ground up to meet today’s security standards, so that's where our engineering and security teams will focus moving forward.
We've worked to make switching to @diabrowser as easy as possible for Arc members. Here's how:
· Your passwords, bookmarks, extensions and history come over to Dia seamlessly.
· Spaces, Folders, and Tab Groups are in Dia and import over with your data intact.
· Dia now surpasses Arc benchmarks in stability, speed, and security.
· The browser features you use in Arc are free in Dia, and the AI is optional.
Thank you for using Arc, for pushing us to make it better, and for building alongside us. The team that made Arc is the same team behind Dia, and some of our most ambitious work is just ahead. We'd love for you to be there with us when it lands.

If you're hearing about the lack of app support on the Duo and wagging your finger at the makers of your favorite app…
+ Duo is a complicated device—many poses & core UI changes.
+ Developers had 3 weeks before press units went out
+ Likely <1% were able to test on real devices
+ Expect many app updates to land before you get your device
+ Long term, it'll take time for new patterns to emerge
Lastly, app makers don't get any of the $2K+ you paid for this device and most won't make any additional $ off this work. So instead of wagging your finger, consider a hug.
Lmao

Had the exact opposite of this today. I would never have survived the day without agents.
They caught so many problems. They triaged all the outages and security issues. They rolled dozens of api keys across various platforms.
Building with AI is pretty damn cool.

Kept going, typing in the composer now does ~75% less work, streaming replies no longer re-render the whole chat, and switching threads is ~30% lighter.
Duo launch is closing in, will we have to freeze or will we keep going?
It’s going to get a lot worse btw
October has been an absolute nightmare for software
> Railway - customer secrets exposure
> LiteLLM - malicious PyPI + Docker releases
> Zeabur - infrastructure breached
> OpenCode - AI API keys exposed
> OVHcloud CLI - official binaries backdoored
> Rank Math PRO - malware in official plugin
> TeamUpdraft - customer data compromised
> ConnectWise - cloud backup identities compromised
> Tensorlake - npm package infected
> SubQuery - backdoored npm package
> GhostAction - GitHub repos with malicious workflows
> PHP - critical RCE vulnerabilities
> Node.js - security vulnerabilities patched
> eMudhra - certificate authority keys compromised
> Tailscale - eMudhra incident
At this point, the biggest security risk might not be the code we write, but the code we trust...
"We’re a few model iterations away from every piece of software we rely on being compromised."
I really wish I wasn't right about this 🙃

Hi! Big Anthropic hater here. Fundamentally disagree.
Anthropic is spending way more than they are getting here. It’s causing a compute crisis for them that’s destroying their reputation in record time. The cost to train the thing is probably higher than the revenue will ever be, especially considering opportunity cost.
The security concerns are absolutely real here. Getting a 27-year old 0-day in OpenBSD by running a for loop is not a joke. We’re a free model iterations away from every piece of software we rely on being compromised.
I respect Anthropic for eating the cost here and giving the software world a few weeks to get ahead of the inevitable crisis looming overhead.
