Today,we held strategic discussions with the @ghanatourismGTA to explore opportunities for collaboration in air connectivity, sports tourism, faith-based tourism, film and trade partnerships.
With @UG_Airlines’ new direct Entebbe-Accra route, the two countries are better connected to unlock tourism opportunities, strengthen business linkages and encourage more travel between East and West Africa.
Discussions also highlighted opportunities around AFCON 2027, the Uganda Martyrs Trail, familiarisation trips for Ghanaian tour operators, and the upcoming Pearl of Africa Tourism Expo (POATE) and East African Community Expo.

🎉UTA Expands Its Secretariat
The UTA has strengthened its secretariat with three new appointments to advance its strategic priorities and better serve member associations.
Together, they bring complementary capabilities to help UTA translate objectives of its Strategic Plan into practical programmes, improved service delivery and stronger stakeholder engagement.
The Association looks forward to bringing on board additional professionals as resources and needs allow, building a stronger secretariat to support its growing mandate, deepen partnerships with government & development partners.
