Been off air with a bunch of T-storms in the "Valley of the Sun". Maybe tomorrow. Did catch 199-203 grids last week so a new endorsement for the VUCC is coming.

Finally caught NA1SS tonight on the 0038z ISS pass. W7ASC at the Science Center where I volunteer caught them last month and I always thought my home station was a little too low profile but timing and conditions count for a lot. It was my time.

Finally got back on satellites today from home. Been active at W7ASC but that was it. Worked 5 on old favorite FM bird AO-91. Back at the ASC tomorrow for both FM and linears.

We had an out-of-this-world experience today—thanks to @NASA_Astronauts Kjell Lindgren 👨‍🚀 At 1:00 p.m. today, he made surprise contact with our Harkins Ham Shack radio from the @Space_Station! Over a dozen families witnessed and participated in the 15-minute radio contact 📡

Maybe even better signals down the road.
Volunteered at AZ Science Center yesterday and got to use the Center's 9700 for several passes including 5 contacts on AO-91. Still need some practice on the linears but I did hear myself a couple of times. W7ASC also received a grant for a new set of beams and new HF gear.

Replying to @k8yse
@k8yse thanks for the AO-91 contact from the W7ASC station at the AZ Science Center, WA8ZID at the mike. Slowing getting the Sat station back in operating shape TS-790 at 15 watts so should be good to go.

Glad to hear you from Ohio or AZ. You're one of the rare guys who can cover 3 passes. Should be able to have W7ASC on most Thursdays except when I'm on the road.

W7V is in the books with 532 contacts including 3 AO-92 contacts made during our 60th Anniversary BBQ. Work got in the way for more passes.

Got a new country, this time on 10m, EA9ACD. heard EA9ACE and EA9ACF as well from Ceuta & Melilla (N. Africa). Now to see if he confirms on LotW.
At W7ASC I found today that the 70 cm transmitter has problems. Only a few milliwatts that I can hear in another FM rig but certainly not enough for the transmission line losses. Hope to get it fixed soon but I only can work 2 meter uplink birds for now.
Just got DL82/92 from Jose, XE2YWH! Maybe 3 new grids today when ND0C is on. Been a dry spell but I've got 9 new grids in September so its been a big month.

3 weeks away from Special Event Station W7V for the 60th anniversary for the West Valley ARC (Sun City, AZ). I will try to get on a few FM passes for the 4 days, October 15-18 and try out a really short call! I'll be mobile on Saturday at the pot luck.
Not an especially rare grid but I will be at DM42 for the AO91/92 passes at 17:57z and 1819z today. On a project site in Eloy, AZ

Had 6 contacts between the 2 satellites including ND0C who was roving himself and a new grid for me from KE7RTB. Should be ocassionally on for the FM passes for several weeks from DM42 as job assignments allow.

Tomorrow will be my 1st time operating FM satellites at W7ASC demo station at the AZ Science Center. Plan to start on SO-50 at 1634z, the AO-92 at 1816 and AO-91 at 1826z.

May be a delay to enter contacts from W7ASC in DM33 as I don't have direct access to the logging software but we will get them in there before too long.
