SK HYNIX $SKHY JUST REPORTED Q3 EARNINGS
• Revenue: $70.7B, beating expectations of $66.4B 🟢
• Operating profit: $56.3B, beating expectations of $51.8B 🟢
• Net profit: $26.7B, missing expectations of $37.4B 🔴
DRAM prices rose by a high 20% range from Q2, and NAND prices rose by a mid 20% range.
SK Hynix is also returning about $68 billion to shareholders in 2026. That includes more than $20 billion in cash dividends and more than $40 billion in buybacks and share cancellations, with a $13.5 billion buyback approved today.
Its Q3 dividend is about $13.50 per share, including a special dividend of about $6.75 from its investment in Kioxia.
For 2027, it expects DRAM demand to grow by a mid 20% range and NAND demand by a high teens percentage.
It says AI infrastructure demand will more than offset falling PC and smartphone shipments, as AI takes on longer, more complex tasks that need far more compute.
APPTRONIK CEO JEFF CARDENAS SAYS A HUMANOID ROBOT IS LIKE A TIME MACHINE
"One of the ways I used to explain robots in the early days was it was like a time machine, and that it was the only thing that gave you time back."
He told Evan from @StockMKTNewz that robots will become indispensable and help us in every way, freeing people up to do all sorts of new things with their time.
"What you do with your time might be different than what I do with mine, but I think it's going to unleash human potential in a bigger way than most people appreciate."

Apptronik CEO Jeff Cardenas says he thinks Humanoid Robots are where personal computers were in the early 1980s
He sees robots rolling out in 3 phases:
- Back of house: factories and warehouses, where robots already work
- Front of house: healthcare, retail, and hotels
- The home: the biggest market, but the hardest because of safety and liability
"You'll see robots in every industry over the coming five years or so."

GE Vernova $GEV expects to be mostly sold out through 2030 at its year-end target
GEV reports earnings tomorrow morning at ~6:30AM ET
Data centers now take about a fifth of $GEV's gas turbine book.
The company expects to be mostly sold out through 2030 at its year-end target.
As a result, first-half 2026 orders were priced over 20% above those of late 2025.
Its 3Q report, out tomorrow Oct 28, will show how close it is to that target.

Chips and hardware led the market. Dell rose +7.5%, AMD $AMD +5.5%, Arista Networks $ANET +5.5% and Broadcom $AVGO +4.0%, with 36 of 50 tech stocks finishing higher. Tesla $TSLA also rose +4.0%.
Boeing fell -10.7% after earnings, and refiners slid, with Valero down -9.2%, Marathon Petroleum -7.4% and Phillips 66 -7.0%. Exxon Mobil $XOM fell -2.5%, and energy was the worst sector on the day.
VISA $V JUST WRAPPED UP A RECORD YEAR WITH $45.9 BILLION IN REVENUE
When it went public in March 2008, it was the largest IPO in US history at the time.
Nancy Pelosi and her husband participated in that IPO while she was Speaker of the House and credit card legislation was moving through Congress, according to 60 Minutes.
In 2011, the show asked her about it.
"Do you think it's all right for a Speaker to accept a very preferential favorable stock deal?"
Pelosi rejected the premise. "First of all, what you're contending is not true."
"I will hold my record in terms of fighting the credit card companies as a Speaker of the House or as a member of Congress up against anyone."
Visa's IPO price was $44, or $11 after its 2015 stock split. Last quarter, Visa paid an average of $369 per share to buy back its own stock.
That's about 33x since the IPO.

Those Agentic Trading Accounts have already driven more than $1.6 billion in trading volume, per Robinhood's Q3 report today.
That's about $8,000 traded per account, and the product only launched at Robinhood's HOOD Summit in September.
CEO Vlad Tenev is one of those users. He told Gav Blaxberg he has his own AI agent trading for him while he sleeps.
"In my own personal trading, I've got my agent going as I sleep. VladBot is the name."
"Agentic trading is kind of like agentic coding. It's the next evolution. It's writing code, but for trading."

That's about 770 million transactions every single day, or nearly 9,000 every second.
The number grew 9% from a year ago, and it's accelerating. Visa processed 74.2 billion transactions in its fiscal fourth quarter alone, up 10%.

It brought in a record $45.9 billion in net revenue in fiscal 2026, up 15% from a year ago.

Robinhood introduced Robinhood Agents and Agent Apps at its HOOD Summit in Houston in September, where it announced 17 new products.
The event drew about 1,500 in-person attendees and more than 50 million livestream viewers.

That's up 53% from a year ago, and just shy of $1 trillion in a single quarter.
Equities revenue rose 41% to $121 million, and margin balances also hit a record.
And trading is about to get even more around the clock. At its HOOD Summit, Robinhood announced 24/7 trading for select US stocks.
