Worksop College

Gung Hey Fat Choi and Sun Nin Fai Lok! ❤️

Last week, we hosted local primary schools for a day with Apollo 5 from the @VOCES8 Foundation. Pupils took part in workshops led by the group, finishing with a fantastic performance for family and friends. We love doing our little bit to inspire passions in young people!🎶👏

Making #BlueMonday a little more sweet 😋 Our prefects held a blue bake sale with all proceeds going to @MindCharity, and we sent each other ‘Happy Monday’ cards 🩵🩵💙 Taking ‘Blue Monday’ and making it our own!

We are proud to announce that Vrishin, Year 12, has been Highly Commended in the ISA Whitbread Memorial Prize! 🎉 This award recognises pupils who have shown exceptional dedication to both school and community life. A huge congratulations to Vrishin - very well deserved!

Year 12s made the most of our outdoor science classroom today - dissecting fish gills in the fresh air rather than 'perfuming' the science corridors! 🐟 Hang in there, Luke 😂

🧬 Our Year 13 Biology pupils are having a fantastic time at Sheffield Hallam University, taking part in a hands-on PCR workshop! 🔬 A huge thank you to @sheffhallamuni for making this happen!

So proud of Grace in Year 8! Over Christmas, she raised an incredible £500 for @SheffChildrens by helping in her family shop, donating her wages, and spreading the word. A fantastic example of kindness and determination! 👏

This Christmas, Worksop College came together to support others with the 'giving tree'. 🎄 On Friday, Catherine from @SheffChildrens Hospital collected the donations. Well done team Worksop - look how full the car is! Thank you to everyone who took part.

Any last minute donations to Sheffield Children’s Hospital, the food bank, or Shiloh homeless charity, would be greatly appreciated! Just leave under the tree tomorrow morning 🎄

The donations are starting to pile up - thank you so much! 🎁 Let’s get as many as possible by Friday… we’ve added more tags to the tree 🎄 pop in and grab one 🎅 Well done team Worksop 👏

What a day!🚢 Our Royal Navy cadets had the incredible opportunity to visit HMS Prince of Wales while it's docked in Liverpool this week. Among a select group of CCF cadets, they explored the aircraft carrier before it opens to the public!⚓

Our Giving Tree, kindly donated by @NorthNottsBID, is spreading Christmas cheer this year! 🎄💫 Pick a tag, give a gift, and make a difference in someone’s life this festive season. Let’s come together to share the joy! ❤️
