Before you test ChatGPT ads, see what competitors are already running and which prompts trigger their ads. We built the AirOps ChatGPT Ad Library to give marketers the competitor and market context you're missing. Use it to plan your next test and learn before you spend. With AI ads, paid sits inside the same AI search strategy as your content, third-party coverage, and community presence. Search the library. Link in comments. #AISearch #ChatGPTAds #AEO

ChatGPT ads match the conversation, not a keyword list. Our tests point to about 30 distinct context hints of 5 to 7 words per ad group, each tied to one buyer need and one landing page. Get more tips: airops.com/blog/chatgpt-ads-…

AirOps is now available on the Claude Marketplace, just as many marketing teams are working out how to pay for AI search. From our Marketing Leaders Reality Index, a survey of 300+ marketing leaders: • 75% said their pipeline or revenue targets went up this year • Fewer than a quarter got the budget they asked for • 87% are prioritizing AI search The priority is clear. The budget often isn't. The Claude Marketplace, Anthropic's marketplace for discovering and buying partner products built on Claude, offers one answer. Anthropic customers can apply a portion of their committed Anthropic spend to AirOps, so they can run their strategy for winning AI search and tie the results back to pipeline and revenue. "Most marketing teams already know AI search matters. The hard part is funding it. Bringing AirOps to the Claude Marketplace lets Anthropic customers put the AI investment they've already committed toward the full AirOps platform, from AI search strategy and analytics to content and execution across every channel that matters in AI search, all tied back to pipeline and revenue." — Cynthia Zu VP of Partnerships Anthropic customers with a spend commitment can contact their Anthropic account team. muse is built different!! muse team is anti-slop-text
Meta's @Muse answers questions very differently from ChatGPT or Anthropic. It cites more sources but uses far fewer words and tables, and doesn't try to ask a follow-up. This short-form content is designed for dealing with tasks rather than continuing a conversation, and frankly, it's far less exhausting to read. This speaks to a really well designed AI experience and its so different from the base LLMs. Great study by the AirOps team 👇 gg @alexandr_wang

When an AI search answer in January cited a brand's own site plus two or more other sites that named it, 77.2% of those brands were still named on the same question in September. When none of the cited pages named the brand, 40.7% were still named. That's a 36-point gap over nine months. That finding comes from our new report, The Cost of Waiting in AI Search. We followed hundreds of thousands of the same questions on ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Mode from January to September 2026. The evidence behind those answers is old: → 75.2% of the Reddit threads AI search cites are more than six months old → A Reddit thread over two years old gets cited again for the same question 25.8% of the time, compared with 13.1% for a thread under a month old Third-party mentions take months to mature. A brand that starts earning them today starts that clock today. Read the full report: airops.com/report/the-cost-o… #AISearch #AEO #ContentMarketing #OriginalResearch

61% of ChatGPT-cited pages use three or more schema types. On Google page one, 25% do. Structure is a citation signal. A few more from our October roundup of 125 AI search stats: → 68.7% of ChatGPT-cited pages follow a sequential heading structure, against 23.9% of Google's top results → 87% use a single H1, against 64% of page one results → Pages with JSON-LD schema were cited 38.5% of the time, against 32.0% without it Start with your highest-intent pages: one H1, headings in order, and schema that describes the page. A UK B2B software company nearly doubled its share of voice in AI answers, from 33.6% to 64.7%, in four months. The team had invested heavily in its website. A channel analysis showed AI was forming its view of the company from Reddit threads, review sites, and listicles instead. So they kept the site and added those channels: external content, a presence in communities like Reddit, and work on review sites. Between June and October 2026: 📈 Mention rate rose from 17.2% to 31.7% 📈 Citation rate rose from 19.4% to 37.3% 📈 Share of voice against tracked competitors rose from 33.6% to 64.7% That was measured across more than 150,000 AI answers. Getting cited starts with knowing which sources AI reads about you. Learn more in our EMEA launch announcement: airops.com/blog/announcing-e… #AISearch #AEO #ContentMarketing

Local sites take 15.5% of European citations, compared with 0.95% in the US. A channel plan copied from the US would underinvest in the sources European AI answers rely on. How are you approaching EMEA? See what it takes to become a brand AI recommends with AirOps. airops.com/blog/announcing-e…

Santé. Cheers. Prost. Proost. AirOps EMEA is officially here. This week, we gathered at Old Sessions House in London, with a room full of marketers, customers, partners and friends to celebrate the launch of AirOps EMEA. We introduced the team building AirOps in the region, shared the first look at our research across the UK, Germany, France and the Netherlands, and talked through the questions marketing teams are asking now: → How does AI search differ across markets and languages? → Which local sources shape what AI says about your brand? → How do you turn those insights into action? Everyone left with a clearer read on how AI search behaves by market, which local sources matter, and a path to make AI search an investable channel, not another dashboard. Thank you to everyone who spent the evening with us. Next up: on November 10, Alex Halliday will share what the first wave of AI search taught us and the practical moves European teams can make. OpenAI's ad run rate went from $0 to more than $1B in under 200 days. That changes how marketing teams are structured, not just how they spend. In our AI Ads webinar, Matt Hammel, AirOps Co-founder and COO, explained why organic, paid, and product teams are converging: → Generative ads and AI search answers draw on the same brand facts: product truth, claims, policies, and brand rules. → Ad formats are gaining agency, moving from sponsored placements toward ads that hold a conversation and complete a purchase inside the chat. That changes who needs to sign off on them. → Connected apps are the next way brands feed evidence to models, and they pull product, paid, and SEO teams into the same work. What to put in place now, before these formats reach your buyers at scale: 1. One strong technical systems thinker to map your systems and data sources 2. Clear rules on which go-to-market teams can read from or write to your shared brand system 3. Legal and regulatory reviewers with access to approve both the inputs and the outputs Full recap in comments. #AISearch #ChatGPTAds #AEO

AirOps is now in EMEA. European marketers need a clear case for where to invest in AI search and how to connect that work to pipeline and revenue. That strategy needs to reflect each market. When we asked the same questions in English and local languages, the AI answers shared only 10% of their sources. Our work with hundreds of US brands points to three priorities for Europe: - Start with your buyers, their questions, and their languages. - Identify which sources influence recommendations in each market. - Invest across content, external sources, communities, and social, then adapt as the data changes. One UK B2B software customer took this approach. Between June and October, its mention rate in AI answers rose from 17.2% to 31.7%. Our London team brings local expertise, the platform, and execution to help European brands invest with confidence. Read the blog announcement to learn more: airops.com/blog/announcing-e…

We analyzed 380,000 AI answers and 3+ million citations across 81 B2B software categories with the Foundation Marketing. Here's what we found: There are multiple AI search landscapes emerging (not just one). 🟢 Google AI Overviews and AI Mode: Reddit appears in 39–52% of answers, YouTube in 38–47% 🟢 AI assistants like ChatGPT, Perplexity and Claude: 52–72% of citations go to off-site product and comparison pages, 16–21% to review platforms 🟢 Claude doesn't cite Reddit or YouTube much at all Agents are becoming the buyer, and each one reads a different slice of the internet to decide who to recommend. If your channel plan thinks of AI search as one channel, you are budgeting for a market that does not exist. Where do your buyers ask? airops.com/blog/b2b-ai-disco…

Growth of LLMs is rising fast and ChatGPT Ads reached $1 billion in annualized revenue run rate in under 200 days. But AI Ads aren't just another channel to bolt on to your current programs. Paid inside AI answers works when it points at the same buyer conversations your onsite content and offsite authority are already competing for. One set of questions. Three ways to show up in the answer. It's a system that works together. Matt Hammel (Co-founder and COO of AirOps) and Alex Hallenbeck (Lead Product Manager, Enterprise) explain the rise of AI ads and how to formulate your strategy:

Vibe cut its AI visibility gap with the category leader from roughly 22 points to 11. Vibe is a streaming TV ad platform for performance marketers, and its onsite AEO program was already working. Georgette Gallagher, who owns SEO and AEO there, could see the brand's own content earning citations. The problem sat somewhere she did not control. "Answer engines mostly aren't citing you about you," she says. "They're citing third parties, and the sources shaping the answers we cared about weren't ours." AirOps identified the offsite sources influencing Vibe's priority topics, then ran the research, publisher outreach, and follow-up needed to get Vibe into them. The results: - Brand mention rate up 13.3% on the focus topic versus before launch - Mention-rate gap with the largest player cut roughly in half - Average mention position from 2.16 to 2.07 Onsite content gets you ready to be cited. Offsite authority decides whether you are.
