Laughable slop science aside, the entire moral panic, from the activist groups, the ANU studies, and the ABC show itself was all bankrolled by Twiggy Forrest’s Minderoo Foundation
So why is a mining billionaire paying NGOs and the ABC to push it right as Parliament tables a censorship bill?
Because the same government chasing control over online speech is funnelling billions in green energy subsidies and tax credits back into his company.
That’s the trade. They want men and women at each other’s throats horizontally so nobody looks up vertically. Forrest bankrolls the panic that hands Canberra control over your speech, and Canberra underwrites his balance sheet with your taxes.

The letter tells a different story.
While Albanese refuses One Nation’s requests for proper staffing, his office hand delivered a personal offer to Farley, the exact same deal previously dangled at Barnaby Joyce.
Same timing. Same playbook. Same attempt to buy loyalty while One Nation surges.
This isn’t “responding to a request” this is a naked attempt to undermine Hanson’s party with public money.
Farley has shut it down. He isn’t leaving.

This is the ATO Commissioner Rob Heferen appointed in 2024 by @AustralianLabor Treasurer @JEChalmers. He’s a career Public Servant and he’s paid $928,980 a year. He’s never worked outside of the APS (Australian Public Service) or run a small business & neither has anyone on his team, yet he was happy to cut off credit card payments, the cash flow lifeline small businesses depend on when the tax bill lands. As the government looks to limit record public spending and subsidies, Dr Chalmers confirmed he was pushing ahead with superannuation performance test changes to ensure the nation's retirement savings were available to invest in key areas including housing and clean energy.
#Chalmers, who told business leaders "our future growth depends on your strength, resilience and ingenuity", said Treasury officials had been instructed to progress consultation with stakeholders on an overhaul of the superannuation performance test to remove unnecessary obstacles to investment.
